If CCP always gets the same payment from PSN sales then Sony is ripping them off big time.
Merc Pack prices
UK = 20 pounds = 30 usd -- Extra profit for sony = 10 usd per pack
US = 20 usd = 20 usd
AUS = 35 aud = 35 usd -- Extra profit for sony = 15 usd per pack
CCP don't stand for this blatant rip-off

Yes, after looking up the numbers myself, AUS has a 10% VAT, whereas the US has none. The AUS dollar is worth basically the same. So, I guess you're right. Screw all retailers, because apparently they all do this to you. Good luck. |

Well, America is tax free in this case, but you're right. I was wrong regarding the magnitude. AUS has a 10% VAT. This is not enough to cover the additional cost of the product. From what I can tell, this is just due to historical precedence. |
