DUST Search - Why is dropship getting shafted?

On we know, blam gave us some hints a week or two ago, some really cool looking stuff coming, and I fully understand that CCP is still working out how these things will work and how they'll fit into the big picture, but until then dropships will continue to be the white elephant of dust. It's just that I and I'm sure many other pilots chose flying as our path in dust because it was a challenging, fun, and rarely trodden path, but the simple fact is flying makes me more angry than anything else, I'm actually given serious thought as to whether or not it's worth it for me to continue flying.

If the fact that one of the most well known pilots in dust is saying they're not worth it as present doesn't tell you something about the state of dropships, I don't know what else does.

Proto AV should take out militia dropships in 2 hits, not the other way around.

No because I have done it too, and not everyone can fly. And please don't mistake confused logic with being angry. Getting angry at something that can eventually be fixed is for 12 year olds. Just stating my opinions and concerns. Try seeing it from my point of view instead of trying to make a mockery out of me. Your supposed to support my critic. I have not bashed CCP about this. Just wanting to know if dropship will get the same love that Assault rifle / HAV users are getting.

Well then, patience it will be. Anywhoo, I'm in it for the long haul. First unreal championship, then halo, then steel battalion, tried COD(too noob friendly whereas everyone's skilled), loved battlefield for its true skill in ranged combat and vehicle use, and now dust has my competitive MP fix. I'm not going anywhere except maybe playing a little defiance for my pve/cross show fix. Another game that set the bar on new ways of experiencing games. CCP and Trion has really brought gaming to another level. Best Developers of 2013 IMO. Can't wait for the eve sitcom either, the lore intrigues me and CCP may have gotten what they have had with PC for ten years, a console fanbase. I know this game turned me into a New Eden fanboi...
