There are devices out there that offer K/M support for the consoles if you know where to look. I have a XIM 3 I will be using for DUST 514 so regardless of what CCP does in the future I have a far better solution than they likely ever will. |

I would probably packed my PS3 back into the box next minute I saw the announcement. And got it out for GT6 next time.
Bought PS3 a few years back, and played it like couple of months or so. Racing and sports games are great, other than that GÇö not my cup of tea (not to start a holy war or anything).
However, Dust514 WITH ability to play with kb/m is the only reason I've got my PS3 from under the bed, swiped the dust from it and been playing for 4 days straight.
At this point, i'm pretty much fed up with ****ed up kb/m controls, so I'm just AFKing on FCC while writing this message. Just to get my SPs. I hope soon this game will actually be playable, otherwise I might just abandon it in a week or so. Waiting for normal controls before I spend any $ on this. |

Can't get more lackluster then no review at all.
from what i can tell Polygon, IGN or rev3 games has even looked at the game.
What are the main game review sites these days? I still have not gotten over how G4 went belly up.
Also the FPS youtubers i watch didn't seem to notice it...but this is expected as FPS youtubers tend to be PC players and setting up a system to record gameplay on a PS3 is not cheap or easy. |

They might as well remove the kb/m. It's freaking horrible as it is now; set to 100 and I can't use squad commands, hip fire aiming is slightly too fast, and ADS is still too slow. Set to 90 stll have trouble using squad commands, hip fire aiming is too slow, ADS is even slower, and the kicker is I feel like I'm actually moving slower.
I just switched to using the DS3 and it's a massive improvement to me. |

What boggles my mind is how people think they can make such silly claims without actually checking first. "From what I can tell" indeed. This is the third claim today I've found on these forums that is so unbelievably misinformed it comes close to being an outright intentional lie. The Google-fu is clearly not strong with you. |

Same here. Forums are full of whining, as per usual. Any reviewer worth his salt won't even go near the forums of ANY game, period. Every game in existence has a plethora of forum posters who do nothing but post negative things. |

This I know about. Just hadn't seen a XIM 3 for PS3. I was using a Splitfish mouse for BF3 for a while. |

I'd leave too. I played PC games for years. Left the gaming world for 2 years, then found Dust514. Told a friend I would play it if I had a PS3.
He bought me one.
Been here ever since.
If kb/m support is removed, I'd leave to. That's the only reason I don't play BF3 more. I strongly prefer kb/m over gamepad.
But I don't care about Dust nor BF3 enough to purchase an input converter.
Not worth spending money to play something you're not sure you'll even enjoy a year from now. |
