Both Rail and Blaster fall under the category of Hybrid weapons, so I sub categorized by the propelling technology (and what they are called in in game lore) to reduce confusion.

Although, the mass driver and swarm launcher occupy different slots. I'd group weapons in this way rather than as he has. Melee Pistol SMG Shotgun Rifles Sniper Light anti-armor Heavy anti-armor Projectiles Heavy anti-infantry MD would be a projectile weapon rather than a rocket weapon, and the plasma cannon would be light anti-armor.

I could see maybe one knife that is has a stronger initial sweep but can't charge for example. They don't all need to be nova knives.
