They removed all that. Now caldari focus on more shield, not more armor which the Type- A was.
Now you have to work with type B, which basically the current suits are now... More shield variants... |

If you act quickly you can get a respec. Just go to Dust514.com, sign in, submit a ticket, and label it "Skill Respec"
This is a limited time thing they are doing because they are changing the skill tree a little. Anyways, if you want armor like the A Series was go Gallente. |

You may want to consider one of the other races suits then. Gallente (I run thier Logi proto currently) are the armor tanks.
They are offering a additional Respec within the next couple weeks though. You can petition for it on the main dust site. |

The Caldari suits are shield tanks. Gallente are armour tanks. Amarr are a balance of both but slightly slower. Minmatar falls apart as you run.
Sounds like you want a Gallente assault. |

I don't think they are accepting skill respec tickets yet, as they said it would become available when they adjusted the skill tree (and they would let us know when they changed it).

Well, like the other friend said, if you like armor, you will like to use the Gallente class, or maybe Amarr.
But if you take Caldari you don't need to be a "shield" user. The Assault Proto Suit (Caldari) has 4 high slots and 3 low slots. You can put 2 armor plates (I don't know the name but the best give you like 115 each so with both you have like 230 plus 120 from the suit I think) and 1 repair module. And in the high slots you don't need to use shields extenders, you can use damage complex modules, scan modules, etc.
You have many options because when people use assault suits, they usually use shields extenders and armor plates, to be like "semi-tankers", but an "assault guys" is supose to make a lot of damage too. So with a Caldari suit, you can sacrifice some shields and put 1 or 2 complex damage modules, so, if you play with your friend "COVER", you will make a lot of damage, and also it will be harder to detect you because with more shields, your "emissions" are higher.
Remember, is not all about armor and shields. Of course, you will see different opinions. I think, damage modules and "cover is your friend" are better than be a "semi-tanker"
Sorry for the english. See you |
