if you aim any turret to down and to the front of the ship, it constantly snaps back to the mid-level height of the front.
You can no longer shoot anything with a missile. 90% of every shot, even out the side (WIDE OPEN) hit the ship. And the that do make it out, go every which way, none of which will hit near your target.
GG Dust, nerf AND break dropships totally before PC matches start. Honest question, do you have any internal testing at all?
PS: Can I have back the 1.5 million ISK I just lost for pressing start while parked on a building. There's a bug where it instantly explodes the DS. I was in a match with NOBODY. This bug is easily duplicate. What the hell? |

If you get the chance, please have someone you trust pilot your ship for you (or even a viper) and test out how #*$&ed up small missile turrets are now, and how buggy moving the turrets is.
They half-ass tried to fix the Shooting at your own ship bug. But what they did was remove half the filed of vision of turrets (lower front anywhere. Like you can be aiming straight down and it'll bug, so you can't). Worthless anyways since if you're moving at all (or sometimes not) 90% of missiles now hit you anyways.
CCP please put turrets back they way there were before. A good gunner would only hit the ship when aiming to the front and moving. Now they hit it aiming out at anything, anytime. They can't aim down and it's seriously broken horribly.
I can see exactly what they did from a technical perspective.
They tried to paint a picture around the drop ship's cancerous bulges so that a turret aiming toward then would not be able to aim exactly at them. If you test it, you can see this kind of works on the top half of the bulge (Galentee) But the bottom half, and half of the Field of Vision below and around it...Or hardly near it, defaults the turret to aiming as if you had been coming in from the TOP FRONT aiming.
