The Test Tube Children of the Caldari peoples number many amongst the thousands of loyal capsuleers in the States vast fleets that patrol New Eden, many having risen to heights of glory only known by a few throughout the galaxy.
Harkon Vysarri however was not amongst those chosen few.
As a product of the States decommisioned Repopulation Programme that saw thousands of genetically created humans introduced into the framework of the Caldari State. Raised in one of many State orphanages for the so called "Test Tube Children" Harkon developed an odd apathy towards the peoples of the State. While fiercely proud of his heritage as Caldari born he was apprehensive about the intervention by local governors in his early enrollment in the Navy, and subsequent selection as a Capsuleer.
However once unleased in his own right, set free from the States sometimes oppressive strictures and guidelines Harkon would dedicate himself to the service of his people serving as a private security contractor, working with a number of Mega Corporations including Kaalakiota and Hyasayoda, even working for the more liberal Ishukone Corporation on a series of exploration jobs into un mapped space.
However it was his partnership with the Ni-Kunni Border Runner Maeera Tyrhannos that would be the pivotal momment of his carreer and the axis upon which his life would turn.
While pursuing a small time band of pirates out in Caldari Borderspace he was suprised when an Amarri frigate, Executioner Class, warped into the combat zone. Mid fight his communications systems were hacked and his private channel opened with numerous distress signals from the small civilian craft.
As it was the craft belonged to a wanted Amarri criminal, Maeera Tyrhannos, a known Ni-Kunni free merchant with a perchant for illegal crossings into and out of Amarr sovereign space.
Taking the ship into custody and extracting the passengers from the combat zone proved simple enough however soon after Harkon encountered a number of Caldari State Patrol Vessels demanding the release of the capsuleer pilot and the imprisioned Caldari diplomats she was supposedly carrying.
In an instant Maeera was freed from captivity and rapidly departed back into Amarr space.
Almost a year on from that it was made clear that a number of the Mega Corporations were doing illegal research into cloned soldier technologies in a direct breach of the campaigns Tibus Heth was undertaking to expell such life forms, and while a Loyalist to the Caldari State Harkon was not above making easy ISK after being apporached by the Ishukone Corporation who had the intent to create a line of cloned soldiers his own genetic make up. As a Test Tube Child it made perfect sense since his own genetic make up was supposedly flawless.
However what Ishukone had not counted on was the instability of Harkons' already cloned DNA, and with each successive replication of tissue over a number of clone brands the inconsistencies were made more and moe clear. Compounding those issues it was clear that State Internal Investigations groups were also closing in a number of Ishukone cloning facilties in outlying border systems. Rather than scrap the project the defective cloned and Harkon's DNA make up were off loaded to a private Amarri security corporation which was subsequently contracted by the 24th Imperial Crusades Military Command to provide cheap replaceable soldiers to high risk conflicts.
The author of this deal and the one responsible for the shipping was none other than Maeera herself, still operating under the radar of Amarri authorities for the State.
The meeting point was set for an abonadoned asteroid belt in Niyabainnen, where supposedly the transactions between capsuleers contracted by the interested parties would be able to conclude successful negotiations.
In a typical fashion to offset the increasing suspicion by Tibus Heth's government Ishukone cut all ties with Vysarri and revealed the location of the meet to Internal Investigations who closed in on the asteroid belt in force.

With the transaction between Harkon and Maeera complete the female capsuleer warped out of system while Harkon ran a number of diversionary measures only narrowly escaping with his life.
In subsequent months the Vysarri line of clones operated under Amarri military commands against the Matari republic until a string of catastrophic genetic deficiencies wracked the entire batch of cloned soldiers, costing the Empire a sizable investment on a recently Reclaimed planet.
Eager to condemn the Ishukone Corporation for its failing the Crusade sent out feelers for the two capsuleers suspected on engineering this failure in the clones, however when Hakron brought proof of his innocence to the Amarri then immeadiately turned their eyes to Ishukone as a whole and by extent the wider Caldari State.
While both capsuleers recognised the potential buisness opportunities the pair were desperate to avoid any degradation if diplomatiic ties between the two erstwhile allies before it was too late to console the empires.
In the following weeks Maeera was able to find the locations of the remaining functional Vysarri clones and round them up with the intent to smuggle them out of the Empire. However the interfeerance of another rival smuggler ensured that Tyrhannos was unable to deliver the entire batch, in her escape she was able to sabotage the core DNA samples of the line ensuring that no more of the clone would ever been made.
In order to make the remaining clones vanish entirely Harkon was forced to launder the clones through a number of Mercenary channels all involved the the DUST project, effectively hiding them amongst the new and more stable clones.
One of these clones was deposted with the Dead Six Intiative, as trusted ally and loyalist faction under the banner of the State. For a time the capsuleer Caldari capsuleer was a member of the Dead Six and took to calling the clone after himself, |
