If true, how do they work?
Do they apply to skills that increase armor resist? Passive resist modules? Active resist modules?
Combinations thereof?
And the new vehicle resist skills, does that get applied only to the base HP of a vehicle, or to the vehicle after you add armor plates?
(just using armor, same thing should apply to shields I assume) |

Unless the module explicitly states there are penalties for stacking, it will not have diminishing returns.
If it does, I have no idea. In all my years on EVE I never even bothered to look it up in that and generally accepted "More than 3 is bad." |

speaking as a DS, that's fine, I'm still waiting to get any ISK or WP per match. Enjoying your 200,000-500,000 isk a game?

I don't have access to the game right now or I'd check. But i'm pretty certain it claims to have a penalty. It's just wholly unexplained |

Anything that lists itself as having a penalty, does.

The numbers given on that page are what you can expect on damage mods and other things which add to whatever their relevant stat is. You get hit harder on subtractive effects like damage resistance and profile dampeners. The % effect numbers are correct per module, but the cumulative bonus numbers are different.
If you have 3 modules giving 10% damage resistance each, the following would apply:
None active: 100% damage. One active: 100 - 10% = 90% damage. Two active: 100 - 10% = 90 - 8.7% = 82.17% damage Three active: 100 - 10% = 90 - 8.7% = 82.17 - 5.7% = 77.49% (rounded to 2 decimal places)
Effectiveness drops off sharply as you stack the modules, but 2 or 3 can still make enough difference to be worthwhile.
These also stack onto your Armour and Shield Upgrades skills, with the skills being applied first. |
