Just curious.
I for one have taken the "Free-to-Play" concept literally. There is a lot I've complained about, but in the end I cannot deny that I have gotten something for nothing. And will continue to do so. Thanks CCP! |

So in that sense, unless you're broke, or unable to pay, I'd suggest at least getting a $20 merc pack. You probably won't regret it, unless you absolutely dislike this game.
No, I meant what I asked: Who has paid anything to play this game? I never bought the Merc pack, I received a Beta Key for free on another forum. And I've never bought any Aurum for gear or SP boosters either.

I've dropped about $30.00, I haven't really seen much on the AUR store I was interested in other then the Merc pack. I'm hoping CCP gets a little better with their marketing tactics, though they have a professional market analyst so I'm sure he will help them figure it out. I'd like to pick up the Elite Pack, but $100.00 in one lump sum is hard for me to justify for myself when I could just flop that down on a new midrange graphics card for my PC or buy 2 brand new games.
You need to look up the definition of "FREE TO PLAY GAME"
And no, as I stated in the first post, I was simply curious. Truth be told if this were a $15 to $20 downloadable game - or perhaps even more - I WOULD have spent that money to purchase the game. I do though think people who pay for the micro-transactions for this or any such game are foolish. |
