I revived several in each match I played last night... It would have been more but the injector bug meant I was fruitlessly stabbing the ground around them and blunting my syringe |

For some reason, I never liked getting revived. Pre-Uprising, I would get revived a few times. I don't know why, but personally screaming for help makes me feel weak. I can understand that reviving saves a clone, but it's just quicker for me to respawn rather than lying around waiting for a good Samaritan to walk by. That's just me. |

I was one of the many players who wanted the ability to revive only if somebody asks for it. CCP made it so but took the bleed out screen from us. When i fell i ask for help. You help in this way too. Someone will get WP for your rezz/repp And possibly an PS, OBS. I don't like to be the first one who respawns when clone reserves go NULL |

I was once magically revived in front of the guy who had just killed me, when we were the only two people around for at least 100 meters. He promptly killed me again. I did not appreciate it. |

Two things have ruined this:
- most suits have only 1 equipment slot (at best)
- reviving mechanics are still broken so you either can't find where to 'inject' someone to res them or the icon doesnt show.
I think the hotfix solved the icon not showing problem but it is still very difficult to find where to hit to res people meaning the inj is useless and you might as well have a nanohive or a rep tool. |

I would add: new player who want to be a medic must invest 1.500.000sp before being able to use a logisuit |

I'm copying a post I just put in General Discussion. Hope this helps for anyone reading this that tries to use the injector.
Aquinarius Zoltanus wrote:It should be obvious to anyone who reads these forums that a lot of people have had serious difficulty getting the nanite injector to actually revive people since the Uprising patch. I'm sure it will be patched eventually, but for now we need to work with what we've got. In my experience in Uprising so far, I think I've developed a few tricks that will help make the injector work more often and wanted to share to help my fellow LogiBros out. If anyone has experienced otherwise, feel free to disagree with me and let me know what has worked for you.
So here are my tips:
1. First of all, and this is a big one, one that messed me up for a while, DO NOT under any circumstances attempt to revive someone the 'old school' way by pulling out the injector from the Equipment wheel and pressing R1. This is MUCH, MUCH less reliable than the new method of pressing Circle with whatever gun/Equipment you already have out.
2. The point of revival will not always be on the body. This was true in Chromosome as well, but at least then you knew that you could revive them if you could find the exact place where they died before their body ragdolled. This is no longer true. In this build, my suggestion for finding the revival point is start at the body, then search around it in a spiral motion moving outward. While doing this repeatedly tap Circle until you find it.
3. When you hear the needle sound and start to see the stabbing animation, STOP ALL MOVEMENT UNTIL THE ANIMATION IS COMPLETE. Even though you were just doing a river dance to try to find the right spot to revive, you need to stop and wait. I think this is what has caused a lot of people trouble as well. You're still free to move around, but if you're no longer in the right spot to revive when the animation completes, it will fail and they will not be revived. And bear in mind, the actual size of the area that you're able to revive them is extremely small, hence why it's best not to move at all.
Using this method, I have been able to revive people about 80% of the time I attempt it (which is much more than before, which was definitely less than half). So no guarantees, even doing it like this it sometimes fails for no reason that I can understand. And I know it's hard to do on the fly, but it's the best we have for now. I just want to discuss this because it seems that a lot of people have either stopped using the injector, or stopped attempting to revive due to frustration. Hope this helps! |

Agreeing with you there Aquinarius, #3 is the big one. I've found that if you start the revive animation and then move out of the tiny tiny revive target not only will the revive fail it will also bug you out for future revives AND stop anyone else from reviving the player in question. It's a huge PITA right now.
Trust us logi's, if you're frustrated by not being revived imagine how frustrating it is for us to have one of our primary responsibilities be totally useless because of a bug. Last night I had to watch four of squadmates bleed out because I couldn't revive a single one of them because of this bug even though the area was clear of hostiles and I had plenty of time to get to them. |

The biggest problem with the revive is that unless the body is on flat ground it is very easy for terrain to cover it in some way so as to make it inaccessible. Nanite injectors might only be working if the player is spamming the X button to be revived. Not sure about this. I did get revived 2x yesterday though so it does still work... this was when I was spamming X for help. |
