i m currently Amarr , i notice that each race has different assualt suit buffs , does it make it difference which one i pick, or do i have to go with caldari which i think its the best idk, pls help |

3) Want the tried-and-true AR, sniper rifle or similar weapons ( I.e. Hybrid ones)? Go Gallente

Also worth noting that Amarr gets more CPU/PG and base total hit points, so if you wanted to do that. Actually if I recall it actually has more CPU/PG than the Gallente Assault can even save with 25% off hybrids, kind of silly. |

Depends on your playstyle there mate.
The Amarr Assault suits racial bonus is a reduction of 5% to the heat build up on thermal based weapons per level.
This means per level the Scrambler Rifle, the Laser Rifle will fire for longer before they over heat. For Lasers this is great because it means you can build up laser charge damage over time, and with the srambler rifle it means you get those crucial extra shots before your gun seizes up and cant fire.
The Caldari Assault suit gets a 2% bonus to Hybrid weapons reload speed if im not mistaken....- Reloads are not faster on Assault Rifles and other hybrid weapons like shotguns, snipers, and all other non standard projectile guns.
Gallente get a 5% per level reduction to the CPU cost of Hybrid weapons so you can fit better gear on a Gallente suit and have more room for mods.
While the Minmatar suit gets Bonus Ammunition to side arms e.g anything like Scrambler Pistols, SMGs, and Flay Locks that fit in the Side Arm slot of your suit.
Bear in mind these are the highest tier bonuses of the racial drop suits and can only be unlocks with a great deal of SP investment into the dropsuit you like.
However on a more basic level
Amarr Dropsuist seem too be geared towards armour tanking- Use of armour plate and armour repair systems, though they can also be used to Shield tank....though they seem to less effective at doing so.
Caldari Dropsuits- Favour shield tanking which means they can be fast and hard to kill. However weapons like scrambler rifles and flux grenades will drop shields like nobodies business.
Gallente Drop Suits are armour tankers as well but somewhat of a oddity in Dust as Gallente normally focus on Armour repair, fast movement, and high damage. Gallente suits have the highest base armour value but low shields.
Minmatar dropsuits are FAST. Very fast, swift movement speed makes these guy great flankers able to get to a location possibly before even being seen, drop a lot of fire on enemies, and then get away.

Shields are popular (aka Minmatar and Caldari suits) right now because the suits move fast and regenerate most of their base EHP very quickly and without logi's helping them. However shields are flimsy and flux grenades and scrambler rifles chew through then fast. Armour would be my choice. You would be slow but you can stack armour and damage mods on the same suit without having to compromise for either, however explosives like Mass Drivers and regular grenades will eat you alive so watch out!.

Starting race does not matter it just determines what your free fits and merc quarters look like if u want to go caldari just skill into it and u will be able to use it |
