Today CCP delivered new skins for the limited edition dropsuits and weapons. The Syndicate SMG went from a great red and black paint job to pale blue. The new merc packs just went live, at least for those of us in the US, and there is a red and black Minmatar in the top right of this picture:

In a match the blue on the Syndicate actually is a close match to Scout blue, at least on the Minmatar. Much nicer than the pale blue in the preview.
Still, please bring back the red and black paint scheme. |

I dont think any weapon should be black except, proto weapons.. Sorry guys!. |

It was the red that made the Syndicate special. The base color can be some medium grey for all I care.

Syndicate was black and red because it was a gamestop edition thus the black and red. Blue makes no sense. |

yep only reason i went through trouble of getting a gamestop merc pack int he uk was cos of the red and black smg cos it looks amazing. bit pee'd off about the color change |

Also, seems the Dren is desert tan. I'm not sure though because CCP hasn't posted anything. Thought I saw a Dren suit in a Twitch video though. |

The standard merc pack is available from the ingame store, but the elite and veteran packs are not |
