Been away from it all and won't be near my PS3 till 16th
If I had to guess
~ DS prices have not decreased yet. Probably increased. ~DS health was not raised despite every other vehicle HP going up ~DS somehow nerfed and now dies in one forge gun blast instead of two. ~Skill descriptions not fixed ~New skill desciptions broken/bugged/ninja-nerfed/opposite of what skill really does.
~We'll be offered one respec... but forced to use it before some deadline while skill descriptions are still ambiguous or inaccurate. ~Right after that respec they'll do more 'fixes' breaking or nerfing more things and we won't be able to respec after that. ~If we use the respec now we'll screw ourselves later just like before. ~If we don't use the respec now we'll screw ourselves for the next month or three while we wait for CCP to quit having arbitrary skill descriptions
~Some sort of game breaking bug introduced that makes all DS pilots rage quit. ~The old game breaking bugs (man dies in turret, locked out of ship) but not fixed.
Am I missing anything? |

With the 5% per level loss to shields and armour, which is now 2% resistance per level I lost over 300 EHP. Staying alive is pretty much impossible until DS get the HP buff that other vehicles got.
aV of all types is still way OP for us, and tanks too. grenades in particular.oh and they made Gallente DS noticeably slower to.
Yeah, Think we all know what to do with that respec now.
PS, let me guess. Those rail installations wouldn't happen to be deep behind the enemy redline where they'll likely be present for the entire game, would they? |

Wait so we lost more HP? Lol
Who else thinks it's plausible that they totally forgot DS existed.
Makes sense for the other vehicles. They increase all of their HP, some drastically. Lower skill-given HP a little bit, and tack on some resist. Sounds like an all around good change.
Unless you're the vehicle that missed the first half of that equation then it's definitely not a measured buff like the rest.

But then we're back to square one. CCP GM stated it would make more sense to 'save it till after the new skills are released' But my spec has issues now because of descriptions that previously were wholly inaccurate to the point of not even being related to what the skill did.
If I respec now to fix those problems in preparation for the first days of PC fighting, then I'll lose the chance allotted to fix the issues they're predicting most will want to fix After new skills tree is out?
And when will that be? Hardly makes sense |

2500 base damage plus mods > total EHP of DS with like 50% resist, no?
Do skill resist stack or have diminishing returns? Do skill resist and module resist stack or have diminishing returns Do module resist stack of have penalties?
I feel like these are all things we need to know. |

While this is good, it still means for the first part of PC I'll have gimped skills in a gimped role because nothing is being done to rectify those previous mistakes till they release the 'new skills' which is.. when?
From now till New Skills, every planetary game I play will have millions of wasted SP, every ounce of which DS pilots need. |
