Allright the first landgrabbing is over at this minute. All the mayor alliances and corperations got hold of planets and took all districts. Clear looser at the minute are imperfects with merly 2 districts on their side. If you want their exact location here we go: -Molden heath-Tartatven-Hrober-VIII districts: 7+8
Well done for chest pounding and then failing to get yourself a nice big area. On the other hand cronos gained controll over the heart of molden heath all for themself and we got the majority of its neighbourgh system. and the heart is a isolated location where there is only 1 way in and 1 way out. |

they were quick on the draw, nothing to really be outraged over.
they will have a MASSIVE advanatge in the coming battles though, at least if they can keep it through the initial assault. |

Everything went according to plan. Problem with owning all those districts dark scrub is you have to fight to keep them. And we here at the Imperfects know exactly how little fight you have.

Two districts means that it costs 160 million per day to keep iMP from expanding from the districts, and potentially taking them over. |

Well guys, I was just talking about this thing with the dudes and what really cracks me up with this whole thing, guys, is the reaction we're seeing from the dudes at Negative Feedback. I mean let's be honest here, guys, if they think having two districts is the sweet spot for their man power and money, that's all fine and dandy, no big deal there, but what I find telling with this whole thing is the lack of strategic minds that they are suffering from over there at the Negative Feedback camp.
Because, guys, make no mistake about it: These guys can talk all they want about not wanting to play "Farmville", or slow expansion, or being the better shooters, man, but let's be perfectly honest here and let's call spade a spade here. They ****** up! Now Steadyhand compared this whole thing to the opening rounds of Risk. Well if that's the case then Negative Feedback just performed the worst opening move ever seen in history. If anyone, other then Me, Dark Could and Steadyhand, actually even saw it.

I heard all the districts were taken with 5 minutes, maybe they tried but couldn't get more. Also, less territory means less time defending and more time attacking, that could be troublesome for anyone in their cross hairs.

Well, Stryker, if that's the case no big deal. **** happens! But when I was looking at their reactions to this whole thing, I got the feeling like this is exactly what their strategy is. And I mean, as I said there might be many reasons: Maybe they don't have the manpower, or the resources, the money, you know but who knows? What my point is, that they have a lot of good shooters, but I don't think they know what they're doing here. |

The real losers here are the ones that took districts - now they have to hold them against the impending horde of players looking to get themselves a slice of the pie. That's going to be alot of work..

So we're bashing Imp now for what? As much as most of us hate to admit it, dudes can play. They have a handful of the best players and the rest are pretty solid too. So as long as they can win the fights, spending less money on initial clones doesnt hurt them. They will be able to expand, take your excess clones and sell your biomass.

Absolutely they're great players, but at the same time, man, we know that they're going to be marginalised as a nuisance corp. I mean, we've seen them win a tournament and they'd probably be very strong candidate winning another tournament if we had one right now, but that's what they are: They're tournament players. PC is a whole different animal, my friend, and whether they realise that or not, you're right about one thing: They're going to have a role to play and that's not the conqueror of all space. |
