I think some of the proto dropsuits have the wrong bonuses:
i will start with the amar heavy.
5% reduction to weapon feedback damage per.lvl. 2% to reload speed.
They should have armor bonuses, they are supose to be tanks, or am i wrong ?
All assault suits have 5% to shield recharge, this is wrong to, the bonuses should fit the race, Amar should have an armor bonus and stuff like that. (some races favor other things)
Also the second bonus is wrong in some of the assault dropsuits.
Amar assault bonus: 5% reduction to laser heat build up per lvl... PERFECT BONUS. Amar always loved lasers ;)
Caldari assault bonus: 2% to hybrid weapon reload speed..... WHAT THE F*** ARE YOU KIDDING ME ? THATS UTTERLY USELESS. Really sux ;(
Gallante assault bonus: 5% reduction hybrid weapons CPU/PG per lvl... PERFECT. Very usefull ;)
Minmatar assault bonus: 5% to sidearm clip sise per lvl... I dont really se the point, make that bonus count for the main weapon, or both ;(
Some of the logi bonuses are wrong to, they all have: +1 HP to dropsuit armor repair rate per lvl... does this work on armor repair modules or is this for remote armor repair units or both ? No matter what it does not all races favor armor, some should have remote shield regen to heal players under fire, others make extra ammo from nannohives or have a bonus to nano injectors.

Caldari logi bonus: 5% to shield extender efficacy per lvl. This is wrong, this bonus should be on the assault if any, and the logi should have a LOGI bonus.
Gallante logi bonus: 5% reduction to equipment CPU/PG per lvl... PERFECT. Very uesfull.
Minmatar logi bonus: 5% to hacking speed per lvl. its a nice skill but compared to the other races logi bonus it not.
The Scout suits:
Well i think the bonuses in them are PERFECT as they are no need for any change there.
CCP. Please changes the ones that are wrong and give them some REAL bonuses they can use and fits there race...

Running around with decent shielding + a Shotgun + a 100 bullet SMG might work for some people bro.
I say Amarr heavy should have like
-+2% Damage reduction per level (meaning they would receive up to 10% less damage from weapons at lvl 5) -+5% Armor plating efficiency per level.
OR SOMETHING of the sort..... |

The +1HP/s logistics bonus is because logis heal everyone else, but nobody is there to heal them. Gallente suits need a +5HP/s regen built into their suits. They're supposed to be mobile, low armor, high regen by design. |

So one logi cant heal another logi ? sorry stupid answar.
right now i never get healed by any logis, they are the kings of the battle field atm. and most of the logis run whit TAR's + dmg modules or in full tank, they have more dps then assaults when they use the dmg mod fitting and they have more HP then heavy suits when they go full armor fit, un top of that they can have both ammo and armor repais in nanohives, (they have 3 slots for that ) and then they use a TAR and a modded controller.
But yes you are right, Gallante are suposed to be low armor, high regen and fast moving suits. Well thats how Gallante use to be anyway.
The only yhing im trying to say here is that the bonuses are wrong, what to do whit them i h dont know, the things i wrote in the top post was only ideas from the top of my head NOT what i think needs to be done, what im saing is that something NEEDS to be done.

I'm sorry but where have you been through the entire logi debate ??? People have actually already come up with quite a few very good examples of dropsuit bonuses. The assaults should have a general bonus of 2% damage to light weapon per level making them much better slayers. Then we can always debate the race specific ones as the gallente one is outdone by the amarr in that the amarr has a lot more CPU/PG than gallente. When it comes to heavies why give them more armor ?? I'm sure the op coming caldari heavy is gonna be thrilled about getting more armor because he is after all a ...... shield tanker. Give heavies a 2% increase to light weapon damage resistance that way they'll become real fortresses on two feet. And about that feedback damage ... really ccp that's just saying heavies don't know when to stop firing. Add in some more heavy weapons as none of them right now are really racial at all. It feels like each race shoudl get their own HMG just as each race gets their own AR. Scouts have some okay bonuses.The minmatar scout though should maybe get a bonus to 5% increase to shotgun optimal and then give the scouts back their old scanning ranges and also give back the proto scout their second equipment. Then i'll begin to watch my back again out of terror for the scout.
And when it comes to bonuses fitting the race it's a good idea. Either race specific to racial guns or equipment or more general bonuses to certain aspects of fitting or weapon categories. |

Some might disagree with the concept of bonuses "locking" you into using a specific type of weapon and i'd be okay with removing the weapon racial limitations but i highly dislike the current bonuses which are great for one race but utterly inconsequential for the other.
All four races have different combat philosophies and encourage different playstyles by their slot setup and base attributes. The current bonuses are so generic that they don't do this fact justice |
