This is a small request to fix some stuff regarding Heavy weapons and other stuff.
-HMG needs More range and less bullet spread. Seriously.
-Forge gun BLUE GLOW. Ok i understand why its there , so enemies can find the source of the forge blast, ok fair enough. But why does the USER has to see it? Not only the Forge guns don't have aiming capabilities , but now we have a BLUE GLOW that covers all the center of the screen. Leave the glow for others to see, remove from the users screen.
-Give heavies of AMARR specialty different bonuses: If you hit Proto of BASIC Heavy path you get basically the same armor as the one of Amarr specialty , only better.
With 2 HP slots and 3 LP slots instead of the stupid 1HP-4LP.
The SP required to have a 15% faster heavy weapon reload + reduction of ''feedback'' damage is just not worth it.
-Remove Hacked AV grenades so people stop complaining about them.
-Decrease effectiveness of TAC AR's at Close range. Not only you get killed at long ranges, but at close range they are still way superior.
-Increase PG for Vehicles.Its only fair that after all the SP spent they have at least the option of optimal customization.
-Finally Decrease Path bonus from Caldari Dropsuit from 5% shield extender efficiency to 3% per level. Remove a Low Powered slot.

uhm....HMG spread is fine, but i do support giving a marginally better range.
Forge gunners dont need to see t heir own glow either,makes for tank and dropship blasting impossible then.
there arent other heavy suits yet, so be patient and wait till the Caldari and Gallente ones come out, then worry about balancing them.
Hacked are going to dissappear eventually.

Caldari dont need a nerf, since 90% of the guns out there have anywhere between 10 and 50% damage extra against sheilds, they need their survivability still |

Ok on these 2. The first one. HMGs do need a range an a slight bullet spread buff I can literally run up to a Heavy shooting at me with an HMG full R1, get close enough and shotgun kill him. EVEN if he saw me first.
On the caldari logi, the thing is some weapons that just CANT get through all that shielding, plus if they get to cover those 650+ shield go back up pretty fast.I mean.I dont think a loadout that has invulnerability against some weapons should be possible. I must admit, since i got my flux grenades they DO seem a lot easier to kill. But still a 6.3 sprinting speed behemoth with 950-1100 HP and damage modded TAC assault rifles doesnt seem to balanced in my personal opinion.

i'll agree on that, its rather silly that you cant take down Caldari alone... so then dont go alone. work with your team then, since your hmg will soon not have a wall the bullets hit and then dissappear, i would not worry too much.
as for the scout problem.... uh... only answer to that is maybe a scrambler pistol i'm afraid, or have a buddy with MD within sight.... MD is still the bane of shotgunners |

This is my area, so I'll tell you, whoever told you this smokes WAAAAAY too much. It's currently impossible to fit HAV specific (heavy) module on them (heavy rep, plate, turret) without needing any PG. It's impossible. But dropsuits can, so I bet you don't give 2 fucks, now do you? |

such assumptions and anger. i might go out of my way to hunt tanks, but dont think i want them to be easy to kill with just my AV grenades and Mass Driver.
i saw another thread about vehicles, and i support the idea of vehicle users getting their own section of Engineering and fitting optimization, because if we infantry men can do something like that, its logical tanks and cars should have something similar.
just know you've made yourself a target to me an about half the tank hunters in my corporation.... good luck in the feild and i hope you do get your optimization |

I understand, now i need you to understand its IMPOSSIBLE to be with your squad a whole game. I run Scout with shotguns and Heavy Forge gunner with SMG's. SMG is my only way of dealing with infantry (if i miss my FG shot at close range that is). Example, yesterday 2 Caldari Logis with 600+ Shielding and TAC AR's Cornered my fat and slow arse. I took one of them out with a single FG shot of course. The other one got weakened by the blast so he took cover. While i approached him his shield was back up. With 650+ shields and 300+ Armor , it was an impossible feat for me to kill him without my flux grenades, and i was out since i used them to take out a tank.
The point is, They are way stronger than other dropsuits. I think they should get balanced or buff other suits.Specially Light and heavy. (a little biased? yeah. Lies? nop...) |

okay, i see the point, but that's another situation where a teammate might have been an asset. Caldari suits are abysmal when it comes to armor, so their shield regen is the best thing the have going for them. and i'm not blaming your gunnery skills, i think its more the Tac AV that's the main issue, since it outdoes EVERYTHING else so far.
though i remember you making a bit of a mess of my Caldari using squaddie, good shooting on that
i actually dislike seeing people leave heavies in t he dust trails, infact i like supporting heavies. heavies no longer need nerfed any more than they are, but people still have the knowledge that heavies are difficult to take down alone, and now so are Caldari.... when the scrambler rifle appears you might not have such an issue, because that... is gonna be anothe ranti sheild weapon.
and stacking penalties will be here soon as well, so the recharger/sheild extender stackings, as well as the damage mod stacking, will be less of an issue to be sure |

Oh yeah i played vs you guys yesterday. Sorry i was playing mostly militia crap and with randoms, lol good r4pe (GG) there... I still cant decide which path to take, im honestly waiting for the Scrambler rifle to test it our before i decide what to play.
in other terms, i dont think Caldari Logi is abysmal in terms of armor. I mean yeah 90 is pretty low, but bro you have 4 [--] LP slots you can easily fix that (im telling you ive seen caldari Logis with 350 Armor and thats enough taking in consideration the Massive tanking shield properties.).
Se well. This is what i think it might fix the problem without Nerfing the suit TOO much.
Then again , i just hope the Scrambler Rifle gets the job done. If not i'll just have to forge gun those yellow armors from afar lol... |

....uh... 350 armor? jeebus its amazing that guy was moving at all.
i'm Gallente and i only reach 362 with one basic plate set on it.... as for the issues with that... like i said, keep a buddy close, being able to solo things all the time isnt possible, but some of the armor boosting out there is a bit silly... hm...
Caldari Logi losing atleast one of the LP could help with that, actually. as for the Tac AR... jsut hope that is nerfed appropriately, because at the rate things are going it will get a nerf soon.
the scrambler rifle is gonna be a double edged issue for you though, cause a nice big charge shot os gonna HURT, even for you big guy, i'd say put one into SR, so you can give it a good test, and i mean a real test, not with the dinky MLT grade ones.
as for suits... i hope you spec'ed into the heavy frames, there is a rather large disparity between MLT and STD grade in armor.... and side suggestion, armor repair module to help slow the deaths, just one can be a life saver, just know that from personal experience in Chromosome |

About the caldari bro
With some Armor plating ( say 2 Enhanced) 1 Complex speed booster ( the red bottle thingies) leaving you at slow movement speed but +2% sprinting speed, and 1 complex armor repairer. Say 4 complex shield extenders and a complex damage booster...
I think this was what he was using....
The SR will be seriously tested with an ALT account i have prepared for it.
And yeah im thinking Heavy , specially cuz i happen to be good with forge guns....Unless SR is good. Then i will play scout or Minmatar assault..... |
