My Minmatar has the Merc Quarters of an Amarr. I really prefer the Minmatar one but I've to to much SP to start a fresh character for it. Is there anyway to fix this?
Here is a photo of the merc quarters and here. |

This depends on where you are staying in new eden, not your race per se. |

Most of the time, you stay in quarters that are per your race, but not all of the quarters are like this. It is possible, though unlikely, that you can be placed in a station that doesn't match your race.

Yeah it can't be in the system I'm at because I'm located in Minmatar space. |

I don't know exactly how Dust picks the station that you are in, but I did see a dev post that said basically what I said above.
In Eve, there are many stations owned by many corporations and those have different affiliations. In Eve, it is entirely possible to be in an Amarr station even in Minmatar space. I think Dust my place you in specific type stations where the chance of this is minimized, but it can still happen.
Theoretically, we should be able to "move" at some point, so you should be able to pick what kind of station you like no matter your race.

Hopefully sooner than latter then.

It's based on the station your merc was assigned At some point we'll be allowed to move about the galaxy, and your quarters will change to reflect the station you're currently in. In eve stations are owned by corporations (in our case, npc corporations) and not the faction. I have a character in Eve that is currently living in Minmatar space, in a station that was built by Joint Harvesting, which was founded by Amarr citizens. The Minmatar currently control the system, but the station is still there.
Think about it this way - if the US invaded Japan and took over the architecture would still be the same.
The immersion breaking part of this is that you can't actually find anything out about the system you're in from the Dust client. If you could examine the station that you're in and see that it has Amarr architecture it would make sense that your quarters look like Amarr ones. |

Really, considering the Minmatar work lamp solution the Amarr would be like heaven. |

The Minmatar theme suits my character. |
