Has anyone tested them this build? Can they repair infantry?

Yes they can. I even sense OP threads on the horizon.

Nope, it's still kind of broken. You can use it, well try to use it but it doesn't work half the time.

They were broken in Chromosome and I'm assuming they're still broken now. Anyways as it stands none of the maps are big enough to support any vehicles besides tanks holding down choke points, and now unfortunately tanks got nerfed to oblivion (and I'm not even a tank driver!). Dropships and LAVs are meant for long distance transport, but right now they are trapped in a cage where everyone with a Swarm Launcher is in lock-on range.

You have one response saying they work, one response saying they work sometimes, and another response saying they don't work. From that, I would conclude that they work sometimes.

From someone who drives Tanks, Dropships and now LAVs (Decided to try them out since I had to get level 4 in LAV anyways), the LLAV is our Tac Rifle in a sense :P My top is about 17/0 in the LLAV, average of about 12/0 a game whilst supporting players with Active Scanner and Reps.

The Repper works, but is far too clunky and unfriendly for the user, we need to probably shift from a lock on to either a bubble, or insta lock, or something that isn't ridiculously slow. If, when people went out of your lock on range or behind cover, it would be nice to have the reps actually reboot back up on them without having to cancel and redo.

But yeah, rolling around with 2300 shields can take multiple AV nades and Swarms better than my Tank can.

I was thinking about better ways for RR's to work.

How would you feel about a drop down list of all the players within range of the remote repair modules, accessed by clicking R3 and then using the right analog stick to select a player/vehicle/installation?

You could also customise the list, set players in your squad to appear at the top, set players from different corps to appear different colours (so you know who to let die :P). Obviously it would have to be streamlined and would take a while to get right.

That could work but obviously it would be tricky to do while simultaneously dirving an LAV. Perhaps have that, but also allow the passenger to access this and use it, encouraging having a passenger on board without making it necessary.

That's actually a pretty good idea.

Been in s squad where theu did test them, and they worked fine... maybe indeed kinda OP just to start the shitstorm.

We managed to heal infantry from pretty damn far with them. (was a limbus, just in case that matters for you).

So I'd say they work... but since i haven't tried them out myself it is more what I noticed during match and heard over comms.
