Ok, my issue isn't completely with AV nades, it's with the hacked ex-av nades that everyone has and require no skill. EVERYBODY has them. Remove them and reimburse people's ISK. Then if people have the grenadier skill they can buy them back.
Also, STD AV should do 400 dmg, ADV should do 600 DMG, and proto should do 800 DMG. The idea of killing a tank with a 2000 isk grenade is ridiculous. |

and therein lies the rub... almost. doesn't cut it. you only get 3 of them.
plus, "gunlogi" is meaningless. there's a lot of ****** fit tanks out there, and we can't balance AV weapons around the retards because when the guy who knows how to fit his tank shows up, he'll be invincible.
more to the OP, the Hacked EX-0 are a known bug. they're not supposed to cost isk, and are slated to be changed.
but as to your other point, you realize that 400 damage is a BASIC locus grenade right? an UNFIT MILITIA LAV would need 4 grenades easy... and that's NOW. ALL ground vehicles are already slated to receive a huge buff to their HP.

If you think buffing the bass HP will help tanks you're completely wrong. What we need is a buff to PG. And 3 grenades take 3 seconds to throw. It only costs 2000 isk to blow up a tank. And all the best tankers of chromosome have decided that tanks are impossible to play, anymore. If you think tanks are not UP, try one out and you'll change your mind. We need a HUGE buff. 25% will not cut it. Try 40% base HP buff and 80% PG buff, then tanks will be tanks. |

Bullsh*t. If they're declaring tanks unusable now they were NOT the best tankers by a LONG shot. I'm not saying vehicles are fine, they clearly need addressing. I've seen plenty of tanks used perfectly. I've seen tankers go 30\0+ in loads~ of games. All you need to do, my good fellow, is adapt.
Each time i've seen a tank used brilliantly they played them LIKE tanks. They sat them far away, hull down and in cover providing long range devastating firepower with rocket turrets.
On the topic of AV grenades... no. Get better. If you LET infantry get that close to you you absolutely utterly deserve to die. Tanks are not supposed to get in close, they extremely vulnerable to AT weapons in ambush and grenades. And that's real like... just like in EVE. Get some infantry cover and keep your tank doing the role it's supposed to instead of charging in and trying to farm kills. |

Oh, I guess the AR scrubs know everything about tanks and AV. The only people I want to hear from are dedicated vehicle users and dedicated AV. Most of the dedicated AV guys will tell you that tanks and dropships are UP. You obviously don't know the first thing about tanking so don't talk about it like you do. |

Could you please point out in my post where I said they didn't need addressing? I'm pretty sure I clearly said they do need looking at. I did say however that to say they're useless means this: You can't use em. You call me a scrub while hiding behind a machine designed to pad K\D. You call me a scrub in a thread asking for something that killed you to be nerfed.
You didn't even read my point before decided I was someone who was beneath you. You can't play the game your way so you take to a forum to complain. Not offer feedback, not offer criticism, but to bi*ch and whine that something killed you. Diddums sweetheart. Suck it up.
If you let infantry close to you who you KNOW are packing AV grenades you deserve EVERYTHING you get. If you refuse to change your playstyle while in tanks with the PRIOR KNOWLEDGE they're not as good as they used to be, you're the damned scrub son, and you again, deserve everything you get.
Here's a few stupid, perhaps CRAZY ideas: 1: Don't spawn in one. 2: Spawn as something else. 3: Play an alt.
But the one thing you shouldn't do? Go on to the forums and insult people on the feedback forum when they disagree with your whine post that offers no feedback whatsoever.
Yes. Vehicles need addressing. We know. You KNEW before you spawned in them. CCP have had enough feedback without this crap clogging up the forums. |

In every game,Close quarter explosives always do more damage, AKA: Mines/ AV grenades/c-4 etc....
so no....
If you got killed by AV grenades, you weren't supposed to be there. |

AV nades dont need a nerf... they are designed to kill murder taxis, and without them this game will be bumpercars 514...
What we need is about a 150% HP buff to HAVs and a 250% buff to derpship hp.
Then... remove HAVs from Ambush (leaving OMS as is)... as they have no access to supply depots and AV fits. |

The problem with an AV Grenade nerf is that they only exist to destroy vehicles. That's their purpose. Other anti-materiel weapons like the Forge Gun or Swarm Launcher can also do damage to installations, people, etc. AV grenades can't destroy supply depots and they can't hurt people. They only exist to destroy vehicles - if you take that away from them... what exactly would they exist for? |

Also to add to this AV nades will NOT hurt Dropships, I have hit Multiple Dropships with multiple AV nades and they just bounce off and never detonate.
Also I dont believe AV Nades need a Nerf at all, But Tanks def need a buff of somekind.
I hardly ever need to use anything other then an Assualt FG unless there are multiple ( and good ) Tankers on the field at once. Even then a proto Breach and good positioning is all I need. |
