Nope, but I tend to be careful about what I activate and when.
Some of our pilots have mentioned hitting the wrong module though. Honestly, I've had more issues pulling out the right stuff on the ground, than in a vehicle. |

Rarely go above 3 modules, but yeah I had a miss activation once, activated afterburner, it went straight into cool down, so did my shield booster. Cost me a dropship. Had quite a few cases where the wrong module has been selected though. |

Yeah, I'm getting this too, but I think this isn't for the dust general forum.
Continuing on that, yeah, and it's screwing me up. ****, ****, ****! I'm surrounded by proto AV! I need ALL modules online, RIGHT NOW -- ****, I didn't want to turn it OFF!
It's bad enough normally when you activate or deactivate the wrong thing because of some weird glitch, but when you're panicked and your hands are slipping or shaking on the controller, and you accidentally turn off the repair mod or something like that, it's HORRIBLE. |

I put in a bug report and posted a bug thread.
You should too though, because unless everyone complains about this it won't even be noticed. Not enough people play vehicles and fewer still do armor or have more than a few mods.
You need at least 5 for this misfire to happen, it goes to the opposite of the one you select and I suspect it's because the control stick is bouncing across.
Aim for 12'oclock, hit 6. This didn't happen in the last build because before there was no way to get out of activating a mod once you highlighted one. Now letting go of stick defaults to unselect them all but results in bounce problems when doing things fast.
Please post a report or this will continue to happen for the next 2 years, or till they overhaul the interface again. |
