The TTK in other games I've played was much... MUCH higher allowing people time to respond to being fired on and actually aim and such.
With this game though the aiming and movement is just so twitchy I can't understand how people are aiming so well and especially how they always seem to be scoring head shots that take me down in half a second.
I've even started using a mouse to try improving my control but at every range still I'm being instantly zeroed in on by people and mowed down. I can't figure how people are able to lock on so well at long and close range and land their hits in such succession while I'm left spraying bullets into the air around them.
Hey OP...
I read your post yesterday prior to playing the game and was very curious about how the game would play out.
Here's my finding after like 4 matches...
Controls are stiff... they aren't fluid. After looking at the maps, I decided I would try sniping first... and wow... what a grind it is to snipe lol...
I ONLY play FPS... Started with Wolfenstein back on my pentium 1 and now playing this... I've seen and played it all...
When I was aiming with the sniper rifle, it's not fluid. I would have my sights down and if the guy was just left/right of my crosshair and I slightly twitch to get on target, it would move past him.... couldn't get a perfect line up on nothing....
So I switched to an assault rifle... I must say it plays like most FPS'... it's good. recoil feels familiar, aiming feels familiar, and handling feels familiar. Only thing is that maybe the muzzle flash is a little harsh... it kind of blinds the screen a bit.
The other thing is I can't figure out if I like the graphics or not.... The terrain feels nice, but the enemy is kind of hard to see... it's almost like there's too much on the screen at any given time and it takes away from how fluid the game is... also the characters on screen I feel move too fast... it's hard to stay on target...
I think practice will get me there... I was doing alright by the last game...
If you are new to FPS' though... it may be tough...
