I have not had much success when it comes to reviving teammates. The one revive I pulled off last match, the guy became stuck in the terrain and unable to get out. This mechanic needs to really be looked into.
The module wheel where you cycle through your weapons and mods does not function properly at all. Hovering over an item to select it does not work. The little arrow indicating which selection you are making does not stick. I play a Logi and it is soooo frustrating to try and pull out the armor repairer in the heat of battle. This needs to be fixed. Logi seem so pointless and we're back to playing CoD... no depth with these broken mechanics. |

The selection wheel is a bit broken. We should probably be discussing this in the bugs section actually since it is pretty messed up right now.
My favorite of these bugs being when you try to use the wheel to give a squad order and it overlays the weapons over the squad order, making it so you have to select a weapon before reopening the squad order menu. |

Revive and Call For Help mechanics are being looked at.
I myself had a couple of squad mates bleed out even though I "successfully" revived them (being I did the animation and they didn't revive). So it is very finicky and broken right now.
Also we learned that rag doll physics are done client side. This means that a body that falls may roll down a hill according to my screen; the body may be stuck to the hill on another player screen but sever side you are actually in midair because you jumped when you died.
Another thing they are looking at. Concesus is to remove rag doll physics until we can get better implementation. |

Yeah the wheel is quite broken. It worked pretty good in the last build. Going from injector to repair tool was very slick. Now I fight with it constantly to give me that which I need...all the while getting shot at. Super frustrating.
The injector is a crap shoot. I only works about 30% of the time. As such I have pretty much stopped carrying it and run with an Active Scanner instead. Sad but true considering I am all about the triage. But why waste an equipment slot on faulty equipment. I am not the only one either. Rare to find anyone carrying the injector anymore. Getting revived is like winning the lottery these days. I see this as being a MAJOR ISSUE when Planetary Conquest launches. We are going to lose a lot of ISK in those battles both in lost equipment and lost clones. Sucks for sure.
But those are not the only mechanics to fail right now. Weapon swap and grenade thrown are so slow that they pretty much equal certain death if attempted in an active engagement |

I've got nothing to add to what you guys have already said but just weighing in that I share your same concerns. This needs to be worked out. The game should improve little by little, not go backwards. |

I just played a match solely using the armor repairer on teammates. It is much harder to acquire an effective lock on players now compared to the last patch. Tweaks!!! |

Seconded. Or ninthed, or whatever :)
Although I'd get it fairly often in Chromosome, I've seen a lot more of this one weird thing since Uprising dropped: After using something in an equipment slot, tap [R2] to switch back to my weapon, and it draws another piece of equipment. It's not helpful when you're trying to repair some Heavy's armor and have to defend yourself, and throw a nanohive at the bad guy.
I don't have a lot of data on this one, but I will try to glean whether there's a pattern to it, and if I can, I will report it in its own thread. |
