CCP that skill tree you devised and implemented is a major let down; Visually and content wise it is something I would expect and accept from a middle school student (and only one step above that POS skill tree excel document).
And the above statment isn't going into the fact that the skills you did put up are not doing what they are clearly defined as doing? example, Explosives skill: 3% reduction of CPU usage. Just what CPU exactly is reduced by 3%? aka: when will grenades be classified as an explosive?
What does it take to write the correct information down and make it understandable?
Now add in the sillyness that spending 1.5 million skillpoints - 3 Weeks of your time with a booster if you can get to 500,000 sp a week (time and real world activities) can maybe get you a 5% bonus to sprint speed and stamina -or - 5 weeks of your time without multiple boosters going. My gripe is simple, I am spending all these skill points and I got nothing to show for it, normally when I play an rpg, each level I go up makes more of the starter enemies run away or at least very easy to kill.
And for the truly fun part, you expect US (the players) to make a decision about something, not knowing the entire situation. -- What is the RANGE on each of the AR rifles? Just what is the Kick level, the dispersion level (the actual values not what they do or don't do in game)? How do you expect someone to determine if a 5% Bonus to some aspect like that is worth it over another skill that is maybe just as important. Does it just mean that the reason why the militia AR can go toe to toe with a duvolle is due to them having the same values for the K&D?
-- Why doesn't a mass driver also have a range? Since it fires contact fused locus grenades? Also why doesn't my enemies aim go wonky when my grenade explodes near them like it does when a person has a MD round go off 7-10 meters near them?
-- Vehicle range... thanks CCP I can't even come close to hitting the wuss in the dropships turret now but he sure as heck can hit me from just about any range and how come a tank user can get into and out of tank before I can even start to cook a grenade or throw one?
-- Speaking of grenades, again... why doesn't the AV variety tell you what the direct damage is? Why is it only the splash damage? How far can I throw the things? What is the seek range? |
