2 days before launch, still uses the "Its a beta" defense
See the game for what it is man, realize how much work its going to take to just reach average, then realize how competitive the shooter market is and how many other more polished games will flood the market in the years CCP takes to polish this turd and youll realize this will be a niche game only have a lasting appeal with the EVE crowd making for a smaller player base which leads to less dev attention
They had a good idea and mishandled it for a year, dont get all pissy because other people realize that |

My panties have anti-bunch technology built in to the core and I'm inherently resilient to butthurt and QQing so I'm in this for the long haul. DUST 514 is pretty much the only game I care about, but I don't get precious like MANY here. Grey is here to stay. :D |

Waiting a few years is a good idea. All that passive SP, and all the new content and systems the game will have will be nice. You'll get to see all the new stuff and improvements at once instead of the boringly gradual wait that those who play will experience. |

We're still working through core mechanics but we're getting closer. They've addressed a hella lotta points in Uprising and go most of it right.
I think we're maybe 6 months away from core mechanics and the fundamental feature set in-game and bug free.
After that, stay posted. CCP moves fast and DUST will be a significantly more mind blowing experience than we have now. |

Fanbois lets take a break. Uprising was a bust. They know it and we know it. I saw the grand vision of Dust at FF and understand it will take time. Nonetheless, that does not give CCP any excuse for this terrible build.

Uprising has been a terrible build for me and it definitely hasn't lived up to expectations. It sucks because CCP has done a great job with diminishing lag on their servers, but there are so many negatives that outweigh the good. IGÇÖm taking a break from Dust 514 for a few days and will try it again on the 14th when the new weapons come out.
ReGnUM. I'm beginning to question whether CCP's grand vision of Dust will ever be a reality. The game has a very small dedicated community and I really don't see room for growth right now. |

i know that you still get SP for not playing and all that but i wanna play this game and i enjoy it.
but with so little to do other then team death match..it kinda drags.
and from the looks of it..this hasnt changed in 1 year of beta. and on 'official release' it still hasnt changed |

also its only a matter of time before another company comes up with a similar type of mmo to dust ..
some company could really steal CCPs ideas and counter them with a similar game but with more stuff in the beta or on release...and constantly add to it.
that would be a nice kick in the teeth for some of you |
