+1 I had a similar experience with my Minmatar Scout. I was charging at him from behind, but he noticed me, turned around and opened fire within ~15-20ft. I literally tanked the damage and carved him up before my shields even depleted. As he bled out, I squatted down. Not to teabag, but as a sign of grief. HMG needs some TLC... |

Heavies were 1v1able in chromosome but now they are a an easy source of points. Heavies should have never been 1v1 unless you could out maneuver them as a scout. It should take at least 2 people with militia gear to take one out, 3 if he's using ADV gear. AR cryhards need to stop QQing about something that's supposed to be their effective counter. |

I dont know if you are referring to me as a AR cryhard.... lol Nope, referring to anyone who is, they know who they are. The ones who hate the less twitch, more strafe direction Uprising has gone from Chrome. The ones spoiled by the casualness of the modern FPS genre where all you need is fast reflexes and the ability to hold down R1 for a few seconds. Dust 514 in general has exposed the weakness in their gun game: sustained aim. I may not have the same reflexes I did in my younger years, but I can lock on to a target like it's nobody's business.
At least before the +10% increase it was balanced enough where they could fit themselves to play twitch style and compete with someone with a steady hand and likewise but that's gone again...
These cryhards, want Dust to be watered down to another generic FPS clone with a spread sheet that doesn't matter. They were all elated when the blanket +10% damage bonus their AR didn't need (but other weapons did) was implemented so they can beat people with damage instead of a steady hand. Dust has raised the skill ceiling for FPS gamers, and it intimidates them. These people are the reason why vehicles have been nerfed to novelty and why Chrome was such a pub stomp slaughter fest and they want to do the same to Uprising. They hold back progress and are the cancer that's killing any and all creativity in the entire FPS genre. Next time you see someon QQ about something that's not an AR being OP and more AR using QQers engage in a tearful circlejerk about it, ask yourself. "Is this the kind of person Cosgar was talking about?" |
