This is how it works.
Pick a random ability/weapon/vehicle/item claim it is OP then add some non-nonsensical BS on why the OP is ruining the game.
For example:
Logis are OP because their healing destroys team work and turns Dust into a CoD clone.
Other Common non-nonsensical BS:
"Dust is an MMO not an FPS."
"I prefer less people playing Dust."
"in the future when CCP adds more features it will be unfair."
"Eve does it this way and EvE is 10 years old"
Come up with your own...or cut and paste....the forums are filled with em. |

For example:
Dev: "HMGs are OP because we looked at the numbers and they were top on every measure."

Skill should be more than just being the first person to line up a shot and left click or press R1 for a few seconds. Other people are skilled in maintaining their aim and using controlled burst, making them hit their mark. Before the damage increase, the AR was in just the right sweet spot in terms of damage compared to shield and armor buffs in uprising. It was so balanced in fact, that if you wanted to play like a twitch shooter, you could easily make a damage mod stacking glass cannon and do it. If you had a steady hand, you could do the opposite and fit to tank. Since the 10% increase, that gank vs tank balance is broken again and everything leads more towards ganking and twitch. On top of that, the TAR has gotten so out of control that the there's a CPM topic on it. right after the 10% increase when people were barely even talking about it before. Coincidence? I think not...

I almost want to say this game is over and this one cannot be topped...but you topped yourself twice already and hoping more epic ones can come out of it. |
