ARs are OP, every weapon got nerfed to novelty except for the AR, but their damage was fine and the TAR was almost perfectly balanced as a weapon. Now after the blanket 10% damage boost, every other weapon is fine, but the AR is OP and the TAR is a semi automatic Tac Sniper Rifle now.
Anyone defending the TAR or the AR in general is a cryhard with a weak gun game and want to pub stomp, beating people with damage and not skill.

I'm not playing the game, I'm being serious.

Skill should be more than just being the first person to line up a shot and left click or press R1 for a few seconds. Other people are skilled in maintaining their aim and using controlled burst, making them hit their mark. Before the damage increase, the AR was in just the right sweet spot in terms of damage compared to shield and armor buffs in uprising. It was so balanced in fact, that if you wanted to play like a twitch shooter, you could easily make a damage mod stacking glass cannon and do it. If you had a steady hand, you could do the opposite and fit to tank. Since the 10% increase, that gank vs tank balance is broken again and everything leads more towards ganking and twitch. On top of that, the TAR has gotten so out of control that the there's a CPM topic on it. right after the 10% increase when people were barely even talking about it before. Coincidence? I think not...
