Summer is here and it is time for me to really start getting into dust 514. I was considering buying the new elite pack when it comes out next week, but I was wondering about the bpos in the pack.

How much better is the gear than the free starter gear? Is it better than the militia bpos? Would they be worth using? If not, what about the two items in the veteran pack? |

They are all standard grade, just like that toxin SMG BPO from the current Merc pack. Hope that helps. |

The only advice I have to offer is to be very aware that the BPOs you buy will probably not be final. This is nowhere near a finished game and I don't doubt they'll end up changing in relative value over the course of the next year or so. Maybe more powerful, maybe less. It's a gamble on your part, but it keeps the servers running so whatever man YOLO c'est la vie do it, do it. |

QFT
The Raven and Sever BPO's used to be quite simple to get into, only 49k SP or so. Now they require just north of 2 million.
People didn't get them refunded, so if they wanted to play as say a tanker or heavy, those suits are now very far out of the way to get.
Furthermore, the tanks that were made available with the armored assault pack where changed to make them completely useless, and not even special in the manner in which they were originally presented, which was less slots, more PG. This was a bigger deal because of the fact that the pack was sold straight through PSN for money, not aurum, so they cannot be refunded.
CCP has so far shown not enough respect for the things people have paid for, so I would be very wary of giving them cash for anything other than SP boosters or consumable items. |

That is ridiculous that they fundamentally altered the nature of the items that were paid for in cash, and then didn't offer anything as compensation |

They are working on fixing the mag suits so we won't need 20 mill sp to use them :=) |

They had amazing CPU and PG, but were given the same slots as a Sica. The Gunnlogi and Madrugar had enough PG and CPU to fit what they needed too, but the Gunnlogi and Madrugar came with slots that the slightly better than MLT tanks were missing.
I liked that pack, because those HAVs were vanity items. You could spend a fraction of the cost of those HAVs and no real $ by going MLT, which were slightly worse than the vanity HAVs. Standard HAVs were a good deal better, and the AUR STD HAVs were better too. If you were spending real $, the AUR HAVs were the better deal.
Unless you were talking about the time between the release of this build and a couple days after release when they nerfd them. CCP forgot to change the stats with the rest of the vehicles, so those once bad tanks became amazing. Did people really spend money on those HAVs just after the new build came out? O_O |
