Since the news of Optional respec seems to be confirmed, Im on the fence wherever take it or not, here's why:
I might have spent more SP that I would liked to into skills with multipliers way higher than expected, which supposedly are being looked upon and extra SP would be reimbursed after rebalance, which in bottom line its what I need.
However, they didnt stated the time for said rework and since Im one of plenty of people who wants to perform on PC as its best of his capabilities, well time is of the essensce, now this brings me 2 questions:
1) Are this reworks going to happen on the 14th or prior, should I risk it and wait? 2) Is there any benefict by not asking for said respect besides not writing the ticket? Think like "get free out of jail card" type of thing, since I can do.. fairly well with what I have specially if the rework gets going before the 14th, however if something really bad happen on the future and I end up needing THEN would holding up on the current would mean anything? Or not taking the respect would be just a missed chance?
Lets be civil... at least until I get a response then SoTa or anybody can feel free to derail. |

That was nowhere near a quick question.
I am taking the respec when it happens. It'll probable take me like an hour, depending on how many changes there are. Don't see why this would effect performance in PC. Either you will be able to respec by the14th or you won't. *shrugs* |

Well lets say If I can get a couple of million SP into "less flashy skill" and more oriented performance, they do affect how many times you die/kill and overall performance.
Also there is a Dev post about that if you want an "optional reset" you need to send them a ticket, thats what I read, which makes me wonder on the process of how to do so. |

More info will come soon. Reworked skills will be refunded back to your unallocated pool. Sounds like CCP is going to allow respec via petition, but that could change. Odds are it will occur around 5/14. I also predict there will be an expiration date for respec requests. You won't be holding on to it for a year and using it when it suits you. Do it now or hold your peace. |

As far as I know (didn't read the whole dev blog yet just a linked portion) all they are doing is lowering the cost of some skills and refunding the difference, in adition to a optional respec.
As far as the ticket thing for respec goes, I imagine they will inform us furth when the time draws near. |

People who are expecting this skill rework and optional respec on the 14th are going to be disappointed. It's coming this month, but most likely not that soon. |
