Since everyone seems to be whining that Logis aren't being support, and want them nerfed into oblivion, here are some changes to make every other class "specialized."
1) No equipment slots for Heavy, Scout, and Assault. Equipment is meant to support! You guys aren't supposed to support! 2) Heavies can only use Heavy Weapons. They're not assault so why should they get an assault rifle? 3) No Assault weapons for Scouts either. Sniper and Shotguns only.
Anyone else got some more restrictions to make sure people play each class the "correct" way? |

That's because people who think logis are a support class are mistaken. Logi's are just as much slayers as assaults are, only difference is that they're less adaptable in a gunfight, but in return they're also better at supporting the team. They're not a support class, they're slayers who can support.

But the real problem is that the other suits are crap compared to the logi and the HMG needs some serious love right now. Buff the suits, the HMG give the second SP respec that we need because of bugged and misleading skills so heavies and assaults can go back to their respective classes and problem solved. Well, one problem at least. |

CCP is offering an optional respec next week sometime, so part of that problem is fixed. I do think that HMGs need a bit more buff. I used to fear them at short to mid range. That should always be the case. |

All they have to do is change the bonus for the Caldari suit, or change the bonus for the assault class. Personally I would go with 2% damage per level for assaults.

Oh you're right! I forgot that shotguns are assault weapons. Well that only leaves sniping for scouts so they can relay info back to the team!
And fine, Scouts can only equip active scanners! But nothing else and Heavy and Assault both get no equipment.

Someone suggested swap the Caldari assault and Logi bonus. Why does assault get a nanohive bonus to begin with? That would be a perfect bonus to a Logi player! |

Maybe replace the Scout Sidearm with an Active Scanner in a yellow slot, and all you can do is upgrade to a better version? And make the Active Scanner slot unique to Scouts and separate from Equipment |

Huh... I thought one race suit had a nanohive bonus. Must have misread something. Well the result still works. Give Caldari Logi a bonus to how effective a nanohive can be. That would get rid of the shield bonus people are complaining about. |

I need to tell some friends that are refusing to play because of the borked skill tree. Any news on fixing the dropsuit skill tree? I agree with you on the HMG. First day of uprising I turned the corner in the complex and met a heavy. He was pelting me with the HMG and barely getting through my shields. When I pulled out my SMG to kill him, I felt like i was doing it out of mercy. Other weapons took a big hit too. Anyway, the logi class was never the problem it's the nerfs that made players go logi. Well, the Caldari should trade some of the suit bonuses with the assault or have a more logistics oriented bonus altogether. Aside from the Gallente getting more armor or something, the rest of the racial logi suits are fine as is. Everything else needs a significant buff to be attractive again. |
