I knew this was going to happen once the 10% increase announcement came out. Before, all the weapons except the AR were nerfed to novelty. Now with the 10% increase, we're right back where we started. Please take the 10% boost from the AR. The TAR doesn't need an additional decrease, but a lower ROF and needs to be less effective inside its optimal range until you move it to the Gauss Rifle line. |

Oh well this is what happens when you put to much RPG in your FPS... Dust has catered to the AR for far too long. Look at how many people are using ARs in uprising. It's not because it's that great of a weapon, it's because it's the only one that didn't get nerfed to novelty. With all the buffed suits, the AR was doing just fine while everything else suffered more. We need weapon diversity back on the field and the only way to do that is for the AR to (for the first time ever) take a hit for the team. |

People please. Possibly, though wouldn't it make more sense just to add a similar skill for those who want to use it? Would certainly add to the SP sink that CCP need. Then we'd be right back where we are. The AR did not need the 10% because it was the only weapon that didn't take a damage nerf. |

It's OP, it's always been the easiest weapon to go HAM with, but now it's just ridiculous. Yesterday the AR was by far the most powerful gun in the game, the Tactical variant being king amongst them. and now... they are still the most powerful weapon in the game, but now the tac is just broken. Nerf the AR's 10% damage, and then put the tac to about 55-60 damage per shot for the prototype variant (then scale the rest down from there) The AR was fine where it was in terms of damage. Exactly! As a slayer weapon it was perfect in the new uprising build. The problem was everything else. Mass Driver got turned into a slow ROF AR that just happens to shoot grenades, but that's a whole different thread.

Get ******* good. Learn to aim. Adapt. You have to admit the TAR is made to powerful this time around, right? If they roll back AR damage 10% back to where it was, the TAR would be fine. Well, it needs a lower ROF something to make it less effective inside its optimal range and when hip firing, but after that, it's fine. I've used it, and it's a good, skilled based, fun to use weapon, but is it as fun for people it's being used on as it is for us to use it? Right now, it's too powerful for its own good and if you care about the weapon, let it take the 10% damage roll back the entire AR line needs. |

Man, we got AR users saying the AR is OP and I'm finding myself agreeing with Keyser on several threads. This has to be a sign that uprising is messed up... |

It did, when weaponry got removed, but they AR should have been buffed by 5% instead of 10%. Weaponry was a core skill in Chrome, everyone skilled into it, it was like a free complex damage mod you didn't have to equip. Who doesn't like free stuff? But in uprising everything but the AR got nerfed in damage and some in range and utility after sharpshooter was removed. Dust 514 needs to stop catering to ARs, especially when they're the only thing on the field right now. |
