Yes, this includes MLT Shotguns.
Why?
Because these things are cheap, but can still pull of one hit kills like the higher tier shotguns, I've seen players use MLT Shotguns as their main weapon, all the time, they've never upgraded because there is no need.
Its not like MLT ARs, in which the smaller magazine weakens the weapon largely, MLT Shotguns might have smaller magazines, but that doesn't matter when each shot can be a potential OHK. |

Ask any Heavy, I'm sure they'd say that Shotguns kill them plenty of times. |

Dont play the "Real life" arguement.
MLT Shotguns can OHK, unless someones shield tanked or a Heavy, then, maybe, just maybe, it takes two shots.
I'm not asking for all Shotguns to be nerfed, just MLT and the Basic one. |

I dont mind a Scout OHKing me with an ADV/Proto Shotgun, its just the MLT one, its got so little going against it that you dont even need to upgrade.
Surely, you people have gone up against that one player using an MLT Shotgun and killing everything with it?

I've played Shotty before.
I had a Standard Shotgun, with a Nova Knife fit, I remember going 17/0 by just picking off lone players.

Scouts aren't the only ones with bad hit detection you know?
It affects;
Turrets
ARs
Snipers
Mass Drivers.

Wonder why that is? its like the knives, once you're in the intended range, its practically an instant kill. when you're paper thin, you need as much damage as you can put to punch through the guys who aren't.
Just like all other Shotguns, right?
So, tell me then, whats the reason to even try level up your Shotgun skill, if MLT Shotties do the job just fine? |
