Sure, they're padding numbers in an obvious and transparent way, and then made Chribba lie to us when he said theres a bug somewhere in the API. Also it took them three days to decide to spin their numbers, because they're like THAT DUMB!

yea - looking at how often I'm always seeing the same people - not buying it.
None of those number are lies your usage of this word already implies some evil conspiracy. The technical term for number that don't seem to match with reality is "wrong" or "inaccurate" if your fancy.
Now lets do some math:
TQ: 34,726 players
DUST: 38,607 players
Lets try to subtract one from the other:
38,607-34,726=3881
Oh look, this number seems oddly in line with the previous days in the same timeframe. Could it be that somewhere in the processing of those numbers they get erroneously added on top of each other so it should read.
TQ: 34,726 players
DUST: 3881 players
So it could be a minor error within the api or a really stupid plot to take our jobs/guns/rights/dust/whatever you decide. |
