I just started an alt, and I'll likely be playing with starter fits on him for months. I want to grind as much as possible so I can spec very far into jets. Pilot suit will rock too, hopefully it comes out soon as well. |

Even without being able to play the game, I started my character on Passive SP the moment we went Open Beta. Can't wait.  However, it would be prudent to wait until we have the entire map space opened up so we can actually be useful, and not spend all our time circling inside a tiny little box.
I remember hearing somewhere that they have a hover function, or that at least the Gallente model does. The Caldari one looks like it'll be more of a high-speed combat vehicle to shoot down dropships and will have to fly in arcs without being able to hover and turn, whereas the Gallente looks like it'll be more of a hovering bomber type thing.
Complete speculation, of course. But damn that Caldari Jet is so sexy. |

They'll probably be really powerful against Dropships, given their combative nature. At that point, Dropships will probably get the buff they deserve.
Seriously though, I fear for a Dropship pilot. Can you imagine trying to transport troops and one of these sleek things is flying at you? I guess it will give gunners a good role, though. |
