Then ensure that your entire Alliance feels the same way and doesn't enlist in FW. If we choose to be soldiers rather than mercenaries and dedicate the pixelated violence we commit to a single cause then we should be allowed that choice. I am not saying that you can't be a mercenary and sell your violence to the highest bidder, I am simply agreeing with gobby that if your Alliance says "we fight for X" then you fight for X, if you want to fight for Y, GTFO of the Alliance you are in and join/make a new one. You decide if you are a mercenary or a soldier when you join an Alliance, if your Alliance hasn't been enlisted, merc it up; if it has been enlisted, then get your ass back to the front soldier Nah ill just fight for whomever i please. You could always just kick them out of the alliance you know, if they arent adhering to the goals of your alliance. You're disregarding the fact that we are supposed to be getting standings for FW soon^TM (yes, I realize this potentially means never). If we get standings for FW battles, mercs who don't adhere to the FW side that their Alliance is enlisted in run the chance of making their Alliance ineligible for FW. While I think that once we do get standings it should be possible to Awox (potentially dragging their Alliance out of FW), until then, mercs either shouldn't be able to join Alliances/Corporations that are enlisted in FW or should be required to only fight for their Alliance/Corporate side (as well as their sides "Ally").
Yes, your thinking along the lines that many here are familar with eve. Their are still core FPS players here, (TRUE MERCS) that are not going to follow any of that cause well... how can put it? could care less about Eden lass. Me being one. This isn't eve. damn.. not yet anyway. (yeah I do see where this game is going)
But I do understand what you are saying. And my answer is ITS TOO SOON LASS. Standings won't be here for awhile. Dust will move closer to eve, and your have more dusters picking up a role. But for now it's the wild west here.. Say hi to the cold blooded fps players lass. |

As you were saying - it might never be added. How do you expect us to care for something that'll be added maybe a year from now? When we cross that path then we can properly discuss it - for now FW is broken by a lot more then just people from alliances jumpin' on the wrong side. Which is exactly why I proposed that we should either not be given the option of fighting for a faction other than our Alliance/Corporations faction/their Ally or not be allowed to join Alliances/Corporations that are enlisted in FW. @Surt gods end Well, laddie, how about you either start up your own Alliance so you can go play space cowboy or just not join any Alliance/Corporations that are enlisted in FW.
Laddie? *she likes you dude!* Sweet. |

This is all internal on eve's end. Has nothing to do in the moment with us. US meaning mercs. You dusters that want to play SOLDERS then I would say follow your boss orders. everyone else see where the highest bidders are, and where the "space politics wind is blowing" |
