Im going to make this brief as possible.
CCP keeps nerfing to keep a 'balance' but NO1 realizes ur LOSING THE INTENT OF THE VISION
we have 4classes (this is NOT about race in THIS post), ASLT : SCOUT: HVY : LOGI
instead of trying to make them ALL standalone soldiers, like the BF3 COD croud wants, screaming OP UP...
lets OP each SOME, and UP it SOME depending on its CLASS...
First we have to visualize each class and their ROLES in game play... HVY: is NOT a run-n-gunner ... he is the one left behind alone to HOLD an objective while the rest move to take another (leave him some nano's both REP & AMMO, and LEAVE 'him/her) SCOUT: is NOT a run-n-gunner ... he is the Director, eye-up-high, molding the battle more through the mic ("incomming TANK from the north", or "squad of headed ur way, il thin them abit"... also placing droplinx and replacing droplinx for rally points.
ASLT: is NOT the guy that can do anything ... he is the frontline footsoldier... light armor and a gun... thats IT
LOGI: is NOT any of the above, this is for the players unable to hit the chair their sitting on... they still get to play! no longer last picked... med armored but carries what every1 else needs
now for implementations
OP each class in this manner:
ASLT: OP DPS with a MINOR agility boost, use ANY LT or small weapon.. dmg boost THE SUIT NOT THE WEAPONS
SCOUT: OP... 200-300 shields - 300-200 armor SPEED & STEALTH& or RANGE and implement a specific selection of weapons SUIT SPECIFIC (Sniper Rifle SMG PSTL Shot Gun) ... 75-150 shields - 150-75 armor (2 HPSLOTS 1LPSLOT, 1HPSLOT 2LPSLOTS) (3HPSLOTS 2LPSLOTS, 2HPSLOTS, 3HPSLOTS)
LOGI: OP PG CPU & EQ slots ... as well as implement a specific selection of weapons SUIT SPECIFIC (MD LZR SMG PSTL SWARM LZR CN-AR ) ... 400-200 shields, 200-400 armor (3HPSLOTS 2LPSLOTS, 2HPSLOTS, 3HPSLOTS)... 4-5EQ SLOT
HVY: OP HP & DPS ... ANY weapons ... (2HPSLOTS 2LPSLOTS) 200-800 shields - 800-200 armor
UP each class in this manner:
ASLT: 0 EQ slots

LOGI: slower, NO side-arm, limited weapons selection
HVY: speed, turn speed, RANGE ( make it USE cover, if itssurrounded its suppose to die)
MAKE THEM PLAY A ROLE ... MAKE THEM "NEED" EACH OTHER... R P G |

the charge does change color and surge (perifials can be used) tho i agree the center charge IS better
i dont think my OP is the ONLY solution, but we need each suit to be OP & UP somewhere... we NEED to NEED each other, else we r just another multiplayer FPS (ie COD BF KZ) |

R P G heavy is intended to be a support unit designed to keep the enemy bunkered down so they can be flanked.. logi is intended to act as a medic. scout is basicly a sniper though players seem to run around with shot guns and nova knives with them. scout should have limited weapons selection. i agree with some of ur ideas but i dont think a person with a big giant gun would want to be stuck with guard duty..
then he can choose a dif role... we NEED 'roles'... and logies are also engies (ie act scan, remote exp, prox, droplinx) |
