As it stands, a yellow logi its automatically primaried due to its stand out color. This will just force logis to play one style, and that is mini heavy. Stack only shield extenders and armor plates. I hoped to play differently than this in uprising, but we are forced to do this just to survive. This is a tactical game too, so why would in this universe would the colors of our suits be so counterproductive ? |

The whole point of this post is to help level the playing field by giving logis non stand out colors. assault blacks at least help to blend into all the grey enviorments, but yellow can be seen across the map easily. |

I'm also not too crazy about the color. A color that is not too noticeable but helps tell logibros apart would be better. |

I don't think we should be taking away the colours, just changing them or toning them down. Personally I feel like logi's could be white and red, or actually have some white and red on them. Yellow was a terrible choice. I also personally feel like the colour choice in general has been terrible, the purple on the scout is just a horrific choice. I'm an artist and I don't think I would ever choose those colours at all... |

Early today I was playing, my buddy was 10 meters to my left, we both came over a ridge unto 4 enemies. I has my bee suit on, my buddy his assault. None fired at him, yet all focused on me. its not that they couldnt see him, I saw a few rounds start at him, them shift over to my face. Not to mention that my gallente basic proto is assault has more total hitpoints than my proto logi with an extra armor plate, is faster, better stamins, and shield recharge. CCP is setting up and discouraging players from using this suit from all angles. |

CCP is using the flashing beacon we call Logi to make players hide and for another good reason to play assault over logi
i would prefer colours based on your race, then have styling to tell a logi from an assault
i look at the minnie and think they all look like they are packing lots of equipment makes perfect sense to be a logi
then i look at gallente.....
i truly hate the yellow it makes no logical sense why we would be bright yellow, i should be weak on stats etc which means i avoid face to face combat not running around as a flash bang on legs |

i truly hate the yellow it makes no logical sense why we would be bright yellow, i should be weak on stats etc which means i avoid face to face combat not running around as a flash bang on legs I spend most my time running away from enemies now, not supporting my team. I have become a homing beacon for bullets. I am constantly bound backwards away from 2-4 enemies, shooting enough to keep there heads down as I run for new cover. I can rarely get to friendly troops, let alone my squad. This forces me to become a kitter, and sometimes even bring the pursuing pack of enemies into a big blob of my friendlies. It is fun at times, but it takes away from playing how I want, which is a medic supporting my team. If the yellow was at least a dull yellow, very light closer to the white spectrum, I believe it would be enough so when people are close to me they can tell we are Logi's, but at range not so much. Lol, as is, we look like bright yellow Ferrari's, people see us from a distance and become fixated on us. |

For when they say white and red i would hope that only a small part of them is like that, i would have the white and read on the upper arm. Also what army would have everyone look alike so that no one knows who can help them. |

There should be a difference in color to specify the role that the suit is playing. Logis should have some discerning feature (a yellow armband or something subtle), maybe assault should have a red streak, heavies don't need anything, scouts could be a little lighter suits (lighter, scout, get it?) but not the bee yellow we have right now.
Better yet, let us choose the color of our suits! |

dont know about everyone else but my motto is:"if its red, its dead". i dont notice many other colors on the battle field. on a lighter map blue and green appear the same. |

Assaults are not black, they are white.
Sentinel green Logi yellow Assault white Scout blue.
The yellow and white could be more subdued. Maybe a golden rod and light grey instead of bright yellow and white. Blue and green on other suits are about right. |

I like it.
Logistics are support roles anyways; if a squad is with you this much less of a problem. I always tried to kill logistics first the last few builds. Nothing new here except that rather than an obvious silhouette we have an obvious colour.
Btw its off topic but anyone skilled for the quafe suit? I want to know if its bright pink. |

This, plus logi suits can't really lose the yellow altogether because once other roles get introduced (cov ops scout, that heavy with two light weapon instead of a heavy weapon and sidearm, etc) there really won't be much distinct enough colours left.

Personally I don't mind the colour but you have a valid point, it's kinda restrictive. For example the Minmatar Logistic suit has hacking speed bonus and increased mobility. One potential fitting for that would be a ninja hacker in skirmish but with its bright yellow it sticks too much out. |

In the US army everyone wears the same uniform no matter what role they play. (well except snipers in a wooded area) No matter what a soldiers role is they want to be undetected by enemy combatants. This is especially true for medics (logi suits) since they primarily carry gear to help heal or stabilize others. i support the idea of having 1 general color for all battle suits that attempts to blend into the terrain on any given map and logi suits get a armband with a red on white cross. |

In universe equivalent of red cross would be gold circle with 3 breaks in it. Emblem of the Sisters of Eve, the main humanitarian relief organization.
Not all factions in New Eden are concerned about blending in, Amarr tend to 24k gold plate military gear and Gallente might complain it doesn't match this seasons fashion.
More subdued colours would be nice, it fits the other art of new eden better and makes it look less halo like. Last build the colors chosen gave game a nice feel that matched New Eden well, the white and yellow in large areas are a little to much.
If bright and smaller markings or subdued and covering same area it would be big improvement. |

Ideally we could just customize the color scheme, but not sticking out at all makes the most sense from a tactical standpoint.
These are EWAR-focused times. The team you work with has its positions related to you through tacnet, and you can communicate with them over a private voice channel. A more sensible means of marking medics is to change their blueberry icon slightly (and people with injectors already look like that when you're downed).
Any outward sign of your role is giving intelligence to your enemies and makes no sense. CCP is aware of this (RE: the Firebrand suit description). They know being subtle and is more important tactically. The "logis are yellow" business is the most random and silly decision on their part in uprising.
A more sensible way for enemies to figure you your class if making checks to their scan precision skill against your dampening, etc. That's the way that makes sense in-universe.
Some people might say, "But people know what heavies and scouts are without looking too hard, why should logis/ass be special?" Well, there are more roles coming to the various sizes, and relative anonymity within your frame-size will be a significant advantage in the days to come I'd think. |

Even modern day medics tend not to wear the geneva convention brassards, as it makes them targets. Completely blending is probably the smartest idea. Any medic designation can be over tacnet (which is secured and private within a team). |
