When using the instant battle system, you should be able to choose between normal and lonewolf mode. Basically, in lone wolf mode, no squads are allowed, allowing for newer players to play the game without full squads of well coordinated, well funded people.
Now, we don't want to close off newer players from squads fully, so this will be optional. |

We should get a game mode where their are no squads allowed. It worked in COD, they have 'Mercenary Mode'. It works well because it tends to keep one team from dominating the other. I am above 4M and I think that any players that like to go squad-less, should be able to do it without being completely worked by another squad.

I am aware of that. However proto gear isn't everything. What stops players making new characters, squad up and play in the newbies tier?
Nothing.
What do they gain? Endless tear collection. |

+1 for lone wolf mode. Sometimes I just want to run a quick match and not wait on a squad. This would be fun. |

Why would they want to encourage solo play in a game made for groups, how about better find a group/matchmaking system? |

The in and out type, who just want a quick match in their free time. The few hours type, who can wait maybe 20 minutes to find a squad, and then play 3 matches max. And the nothing to do type who can get a squad and play all day. There needs to be something for the in and out type who can't get a squad all the time. |

The +1 vote was for lone wolf mode. I don't like Cats. |

Why pubstomp? What's the point? The ISK payout system means you'll be getting jack-**** for each kill anyway. |

No end game yet. There never will be an end game. Only reason there's an end game in EVE is because all the Technetium moons are in one section of the game, and they're about to split that up.
There should never be an "end-game", as far as I'm concerned, once Planetary Conquest goes live.
As of right now, is it really worth it even for boredom? You may have a ton of ISK now, but that goes away faster than you might think when you're getting crappy payouts from stomping on noobs. |
