Every time, but we don't expect many to be unoccupied very often so I focused this on the launch. But yes, every time. |

The planetary interaction bonus for owning the production facility has been dropped. There are many reasons for this, the primary being that we didnGÇÖt feel it was a worthwhile bonus to provoke fights and didnGÇÖt have time to create a new one. Production Facilities were already nerfed from 50% more production to 25% more. Now you're taking away the EVE bonus, making people even less likely to use them. Are there any plans to make them more viable in the near future?
We actually believe they will be the most common SI and the bonus we were going to give them for EVE was a really lackluster bonus. Temperate planets are not really used for extraction, they are primarily used as factory planets. We would like to look at a bonus that affects factory planets instead.
We will monitor their use post launch and see how things go. If they truly are the least used we will focus on getting that extra bonus out sooner. |

Other bonuses are being looked into but for launch the biggest thing we will have going for us is our ability to tweak numbers for the existing bonuses. If the PF does end up being really undervalued due to it's lack of EVE bonus we will put a higher priority on getting one added, or possibly up it's DUST bonus as well.
This is something we will watch very closely. |

Liner ReXiandra wrote:About the EVE bonuses, any details on how this pans out? Do my POS towers suddenly all require less fuel by magic?
Same as the fuel bonus in null sec. So yes, basically if your POS is anchored at a moon around the planet you own a district on, you get the bonus. |

I thought it was a global fuel reduction for all corp posses. Thanks for clearing that up
:) My pleasure. Sorry for the confusion. |

Gawen Eadan wrote:Quick "how" question.
How, will we be capturing unclaimed districts? Will there be an isk cost? Will we have to go to battle with another corp for it?
Simply by moving clones to the district captures it for you right away. If you do not own any districts to move clones from, you will need to deploy a starter pack of clones. |

CCP SoxFour answered this elsewhere, during fanfest presentation I think. Answer was, Battle time will be random in that one hour window, but it will say the exact time as soon as it is confirmed. So when you attack you will know sometime 1400-1500, once you have confirmed attack you and defender will find out the exact time. Confirm the attack?
The basic idea is you pick clones up from one of your own districts and place them on another district. When you select the target district you get a dialogue window telling you the costs of everything along with telling you the one hour window in which the battle will happen.
Once you confirm that dialogue window you have committed to the attack and the final exact time of the battle will be shown in the battle finder.
Here is the presentation I did at Fanfest about planetary conquest: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NIdn8IVczVM&list=SPldrBIEnJ5hNf5bDBahRZic-k3Rh-Bs_n&index=11
