Skill point progression: Based on your feedback we will be doing further adjustments to skill point requirements for specializations, which received a massive rework in Uprising along with the new node based visualization of the tech tree. Our plan is to address this by tweaking skill point requirements GÇô and in that process reimburse you with the skill points that youGÇÖve spent back to your unused skill pool. Additionally, we are planning an optional skill point respec of skill points to players via petitioning our game masters after this change occurs, in case some of you may not be completely satisfied with your original choices. We also believe that this will solve some dropsuit requirements that were changed in Uprising, giving you easier access to those items again. Details about changes to the skill point progress will be forthcoming when available, and weGÇÖll provide an updated spreadsheet in advance of that (the previous one provided) here. |

So they're saying that we're gonna get a refund soon, and from then on we can get respecs as simple as submitting a ticket? Or did I misunderstand that last part? If not, are these optional respecs ongoing or just for the near future while kinks are worked out? |

Sorry if I'm a little slow but I'm not understanding this. So I'm assuming, once they change the Specialization Suits SP requirement anyone who has speced into them will get All their SP Back? Anyone who wants a full respec of all accrued Skill points has the option of sending in a help ticket with their account info and such?
Is this correct? Clarification please  |

I don't think the intention is for an ongoing option ... just if people aren't happy after the changes.
what I posted in CCP Eterne thread ... that's how I'm understanding it and it would make sense. |

Just talked with a corpmate about this...seems that the dropsuit SP will be given back, but if you want a one-time full respec, you may request one via petition.
Have to see how much I get back. I wouldn't do too much any differently, since I didn't blindly spec into anything, but it might be worth my while to re-evaluate a few of my choices. |

Pretty much this. If something big like dropsuits is changing, I would rather have all of my SP back in order to put everything on the table before I spec. |

Yea basically CCP admits that the SP tree screw up was soo bad that when they make changes you will get that SP back but you will also have the option of asking for a full respec since they are reworking the tree so much. |

One the EVE side I've seen them do adjustments to skill trees... they basically will work to make the SP effects fair in terms of getting back SP that was spent on a removed skill or keeping abilities that you had before a change.
Nice of them to allow a one-shot respec if people decide they want one... the certainly don't have to do that. |
