Very very confusing bug. Highlighting the information below:
A.) Was in a match where I was defending on behalf of the Minmatar Republic. It clearly stated that I was part of the Minmatar Republic team in the player list.
B.) It was very clear that Blue was my team and Red was the enemy. Blue was winning both on MCC Hitpoints, Objectives claimed and Clones remaining.
C.) On the spawn screen, however, the Blue Team was listed as the Amarr Empire and the Red Team was labeled as the Minmatar Republic - painting us as though we were losing the battle when we very clearly were not.
I had to check multiple times between the player list and the spawn screen as I tried to wrap my head around this, I was at first under the impression that I had selected the wrong team but then it wouldn't make sense that the Player List very clearly stated that I was part of the Minmatar Republic - who was winning - when the spawn screen stated that the Amarr Empire was not only the team that I was on (blue) but that they were winning.
I've seen this three times now so I know it's not a one time event.

Hey Aeon, this sounds like Faction Warfare. Is that correct?
I have only played a few but didn't really take the time to notice the headers. Thanks for catching this.
Earlier we accepted a Defender FW but wound up on the Attacker side of the map. We specifically wanted to be on the other side as we had just been on the Attacker side and now wanted to experience from the other side. It was very frustrating to say the least as well as confusing. |

Yeah, think I was in that match with you guys actually - your corp name seems familiar.
I do mean Faction Warfare and intend to fix the title in just a second.
I dunno if the side your on - to be more specific, attacker or defender - matters as to where to spawn on the map but the information provided between the screens is dangerously confusing.
Now, if you mean that you wanted to be Attacker and the only option was Defender - that's specific to the district/planet that is currently available. Districts become available as Eve online players capture complexes.
For Example:
If a Caldari player captures a complex in Gallente space, a battle opens up for us where the Attackers are Caldari and the Defenders are Gallente.
Now, if a Gallente player captures a complex in Caldari space, a battle opens up for us where the Attackers are Gallente and the Defenders are Caldari.
Hope that helps. |

Anyone else experiencing this or is it perhaps a client-side issue? |
