This is a joke right? Someone, please tell me that this is either a joke or this person is 5 years old.
Of ALL the possible reasons to quit Dust, you are doing it because you had to wait two and a half hours for it to "up-load (proper term here is 'download' btw, as you are pulling it down from the ethernet rather than putting it up into it)?
First of all it probably IS your connection to psn and the internet, either way, it is at least 1gb of info to download, I have reasonable interent and dling a gig over the psn usually takes at least 30 minutes for me on a good day.
"Pay to play"? What are you talking about? You make it sound like, because you are not paying CCP some secret payment, they are now blocking you from downloading, paranoid much? Uninformed lots?
Please don't pollute the forum with such an uninformed, meaningless and weirdly confusing posts like this.
A side note while I am dissecting this wretched thread: if you are truely so impatient that you can't restart your ps3 and wait a couple hours to download a game you say you love then Dust, my friend, is NOT for you.
I don't want to be teamed up with someone who is so impatient that they Leroy Jenkins every game we play.
If you play the way you post you will not make it through a single match of Planetary Conquest.
So, unless you learn the art of patience and to actually open your eyes for two seconds before charging to conclusions, please do us all a favour and keep your word.

Damnit dude, that post was great until that last half, and now I have to do this AGAIN.
While I would like to say I'm impressed...
Well actually no, I'm not even going to feign it.
I work two great jobs, one full and one part time five days a week. Plus commute I am out of the house over 16 hours a day, I haven't "lived off of" anyone since I was fourteen. On the weekends I am usually out surfing or hiking with my girl, who also plays while being a fulltime student, and yet I still have the foresight to set my download up at a time where it won't be disruptive.
So, way to make a false assumption sir. I also know that I am nothing close to a special case, from the interesting and entertaining conversations I have had with my fellow dust players I know that many of these people have the same kind of life that you and I do.
The overall world of gamers has come a long way from trust-fund-living basement cases and I think you would do well to refrain from insulting everyone here with such an underhanded and presumptuous jab, especially if you want to have any hope of success in here.
So please, sit back, breathe, and just enjoy, if not the game itself then at least the community. This game has attracted the interest of, in my opinion, a much better class of gamer, possibly due to it's association with EVE, but also because of the vision CCP has for it and the patience we all must have to see it come to fruition.
