If they can fix the aiming, then the rest should all fall into place.
hmm.. I hit everything I aim at.
I am at a loss as to why people are having such issues. Everyone says they have issues. the aiming sucks. etc. but never is there any details given that I have seen. just the general aiming sucks. Last build it was more of a clown mechanic that served it's purpose. kind of like the old doom PC games if you will. If anything, they made shooting rifles (at least) closer to an experience of shooting a real rifle. You guys know that there are rear sights and a front sight. The front sight, much like a real gun, has to line up between the posts of the rear sight. IF you move quickly these will misalign and thus your aim will be all over. Does no one understand this?
now! I can see if the complaint was switching weapons. That is seriously pawn3d. I could see it taking a second- but you get now feedback. hit the swap button.. 3 seconds later your gun changes. That mechanic is definably fubar.

Thanks. I am just trying to see what people are talking about as I am consistently aiming on target and hitting. i get brief hits of delay here and there, but that is the whole game right now. not just shooting.
But the complaint is really wide spread. I am just wondering if the devs tried to shoot for a more realistic gun mechanic as possible. it isn't totally there, but it's a lot closer than chromosome. That different mechanic is welcomed by me, but maybe others like the typical FPS type mechanic ala chromosome?

That's why I am so shocked! It seems way better than Chrom. Yea, it needs refinement, but it's a far better direction. |
