One quest about profile Dampeners: the percentage is under the basic dropsuit profile or under the current profile?
Ex: if i go with one scout with 2 profile dampeners of 25% each, (the scout profile is 45), ignoring the skills, my profile will be 45x0,75x0,75 = 25,3 or will be 45x0,5 = 22,5? |

should be the first, but you have to add the stacking penalties to the second dampener.
Should be 87,5% of 25% on the second module.
I have a question too, the skills on damping, range and scanning precision, are working as intended?
I've spent some sp on them but i don't see any changes on my mini map or they work on screen and not on the mini map? |

profile dampenner has stacking penalties? well, this i did not know... and i think that range and scanning precision effect are in mini-map, but i think that it are a lot zoomed, so that will be nice if be a option to zoom in or zoom out minimap, so range amplifier will be effect... |

Pretty sure it's the first one and there are no stacking penalties for it. If not than imagine putting three of the complex profile dampeners on a prototype scout. That's 25% reduction for level 5 scout, then 3 other 25% reductions with mods. That's 100% so your profile signature would be 0. And that's not even considering that profile dampening skill has a 2% reduction per level. |

That's not how it works. They are percentage reductions - not percentage point reductions -, so you can never go to zero. |

Haven't checked this build, but in Chromosome, according to description Profile Dampeners did not have stacking.
The math is:
Base * (1 + Module1) * (1 + Module2)
So if Base is 45
And Module1 and Module2 are both 25%, or 0.25
45 * (1 + -0.25) * (1 + -0.25) =
45 * 0.75 * 0.75 = 25.31 |
