Release is the 14th.
You have the option to have a full character reset (Your items and skillpoints, and ISK will be reset to that of a brand new character, with all your merc pack/aurum stuff being refunded) but only if you request it via petition. (AFAIK, Only people who bought merc packs before jan 22 are eligible for this)
Everyone else had a skillpoint refund ("respec") on the 6th, and there is very likely going to be another optional refund (you'll be able to ask for it, but it won't be mandatory) when they finish and deploy the changes to the uprising skill progression.
Your character will not be deleted unless you choose the option ingame, and you will lose all items associated with that character without being offered a refund. (The character can be recovered in the case of accidental deletion, with all items intact) |

Is this optional refund just speculation or from the horse's mouth? And when and where do I ask for it? It's fun spending SP and hopefully the SP threads can die after that. |

Why wait until a new post when we can just respond to one that is already going?
The actual release date will be next year but don't tell CCP that. They think they already officially released it.
