This is suppose to be a MMOFPS after all, but still none of its modes go beyond what non MMOFPS like MAG, Resistance 2 and Battlefield3 can do.
Will we ever get large 64+ multiplayer battles? |

You're wrong again.
Part of what they talked about at FanFest was that they plan to continue to increase both map size and player count.
Considering that they plan to keep this game going well beyond the PS3, it's pretty much guaranteed we'll see 32v32, if not larger.
In the near term, you'll notice in the patch notes that this build is optimized for up to 48 players, so we'll probably be seeing that number soon, especially with the 6-man squads returning. |

I say.... yessssss. But not for another three to five years when CCP stops supporting Dust 514 on the PS3, and completely transitions over to the PS4. The current Platform we have has the ability to run 256 players (as shown on the game MAG) however that came was MUCH less complicated then this one. Within the next couple months (hopefully the 14th if were lucky) the player cap SHOULD be hitting 24 vs 24 (so a 48 player cap) which is above average for most games. But long term, don't expect anything more then that for a while because that is the number CCP promised us after all. |

I always thought they meant MMO in the sense that you are part of the same single shard universe as EVE and you can fight over the massive amount of planets and stuff, even if the actual individual battles themselves aren't very massive. |
