2nd. This is technical question. I have a militia sniper rifle and a Sniper rifle. They both do same dmg. But sniper has 5 shots in chamber. Then I bought a NT-511T Sniper Rifle. The only difference from that and a Sniper rifle. Is, 9.6 dmg. But the cost is over 6,000 isk. But the sniper is just under 2,500 isk. Not sure on exact numbers. What I am asking is. Is it worth 4k more isk for 9.6 more dmg? Shouldnt there be more dmg or other increase stats?! I thought an upgrade was ment to feel like an upgrade. I barely see a difference at all. Wait. I feel the difference when I die 10 times in a match. Specially with my first tier scout suit that cost like 7,000 isk.
3rd. How do I salvage? I have items I dont want and wish to get rid of em but not waste the isk I spent on it. Is there a way? or has it not yet been implemented?
4th.. Will we be able to send isk to other ppl? Or can we do that now? if so, how?
5th. Is there anything on the other side of those two doors in the merc quarters? or will there ever be? if so, what? And can I make a suggestion? Make it possible to group up in a big corp building with other members in your corp and have stuff to do while chilling in the corp quarters. That would be fun to do if I didnt want to do a match that moment and also be able to mengle with other members in my corp.
6th. How am I suppose to get that many SP?! My sniper rifle upgrade is at lvl 4 and to get it to lvl 5 I need 300,000 SP! I get like on average about, 3k sp. I do about 4 - 7 matches a day. How am I suppose to upgrade all those things? There must be a way that doesnt involve hours and hours of mind numbing grinding? I thought we can all agree thats one thing ppl hate about mmos....
7th. Is there a way to get exact stat info in game on stats? I see this does that but not sure what THAT does. If anyone knows what I mean. please help. By stats I mean. on suits, weapons, equipment, and vehicles. What is meta lvl? also if its higher does that mean weapons do more crits?? can weapons crit??
8th and final question. This is more of a request. Can when I hit an enemy. Have numbers in a neat and orderly fashion be displayed on my screen to help with stats. and Data collection. Like the distance between my fun and the object Im looking in a scope is. Or weapon dmg on a target appear and float away slowly fading. I really want to know how far an object is when I look at it on my scope. Also want to be able to see the dmg I am doing to the target. As well as TELL IF I AM HITTING THEM!!! Its hard to tell if I hit them or not. Of course this could be turned off in the options menu. DMG numbers I mean. The distance thing should be on all the time but in a small little box to the right of where your dot is in the center of screen.
Thank you for reading this and answering any of the questions I asked.
1. Can't help you here, I don't use an assault rifle.
2. Due to the lack of skill requirement and lower cost of the Militia variant of the Sniper Rifle, it has certain drawbacks on the basic version, one of them being less ammunition in the clip. Others being more PG and CPU fitting demands. The NT-511 rifle is definitely not worth it. Hell, the Ishukone and Kalakiota are barely worth it. Personally I use the charge rifle, though this takes a fair amount of getting used to and some people don't like it. I recommend skilling up to getting Complex Light Damage Modifiers, and trying to fit up to 2 or 3 on your suit. These add ~10% damage each (calculated from your weapon base, making the higher tier weapons more valuable. NOTE: There is a stacking penalty per additional mod). You'll notice the difference after adding these. This is, however, an expensive way to do things so make sure you learn how to stay alive.
3. Salvage items are placed randomly in your inventory at the end of each match, acquired from the bodies of the enemy mercs you've killed (I'm fairly sure.. not sure if this is applicable to public matches or not). There is currently no way to sell items to other players or back to the market to get ISK for the weapons you can't use.
4. We currently can't send ISK to other players. I'm sure this will be a future feature when player trading is introduced.
5. There is currently no walking in stations. However, this is a planned feature for both EVE and DUST integration at a date a long way in the future.
6. Skills in this build do require a lot of SP, which is so that you can't reach endgame in a matter of weeks or months. This will keep the game interesting going into the future and is a necessary evil. However, you will get 168,000 SP per week of passive SP (1,000 per hour), and so this should mitigate some of the 'grind' for you.
7. Meta level indicates how advanced (technologically) an item is. It has no practical relevance other than to show a module progression from basic to prototype or officer. A fair chunk of item stats were released by CCP in an excel file on this dev blog, however it does not have everything, and is currently all the information anybody has.
8. This is a request that needs to go in the "Feedback/Requests' subforum, though there is currently a damage indicator. A red 'cross', orientated diagonally, will appear around your reticle when you successfully hit someone.
Hope this has helped. |
