you know i dont know why but i have the feeling that upon the weapon release, over 80 percent of ppl (me included) will be using the scrambler rifles which makes me wonder if anyone even find the other new weapons useful.
another thing i like to mention is that if the weapons are coming out soon, the why the hell are people spending their skillpoints on making the ar as powerful as it can get rather than saving up for the new weapons |

Because I got flux grenades for shields and I'd rather invest in the old Assault Rifles which are better against armor.
Surely a lot of people will go Scrambler Rifle, but do you really think it'll be 80%? |

its merely a gut feeling, i mean i hardly hear talks of the plasma cannon or flaylock pistol i mean when the peacekeeper was released on black ops 2, those things were everywhere.

I thought the current ARs were hybrid weapons unlike the scrambler rifle which performs best against shields...(?)
People playing are most concerned with instant gratification. They spent their skill points on dropsuits and weapons right away instead of skills any infantry role could make use of. Now, those same people want a respec on release, likely so they can go straight to prototype scrambler rifles and continue stomping public matches. Those same people probably want a respec for each additional content addition to, again, go straight to proto and make more newberries rage quit and delete the game from their PS3s forever. |

i did spend the points to get the prototype scrambler rifles available upon launch but i didnt spend alot on the dropsuits since i needed points for modules, equipment, and a good secondary. i mean i like the faylock pistol but i prefer to take advantage of the melee bonus from mimnatar scouts and equip the knova knives, which is i had been using with scanner until the weapon is released |

I dont use Flux because i always carry AV grenades. I will give the Scrambler Rifle a shot, specially since shielding is so OP at the moment. |

Been wondering the same. Either they have tons of SP to get everything proto or they don't give a **** about the new weapons. Meanwhile I'm the guy with the basic AR. 2 mil SP waiting for my sexiness. |

People are still using the AR because it didn't get nerfed to novelty like everything else. Just about every other weapon in the game took a hit to the point where they can't compete with the AR anymore. Welcome to AR 514. |

Ar is 110 shields 90 armor, scrambler is 120 shields 80 armor, therefore the AR is in fact better against armor than the scrambler  |

I don't see what all the fuss is about really, the difference isn't that big. The only people who need worry are all those who specced into the Caldari shield tanking suits, I guess. |
