The more I play uprising, the more it reminds me of some of the low points of the builds that followed E 3 in closed beta.
It is almost as if all of the changes (skill progression tree, nerfs, new coat of paint) we have see with Uprising were applied to one of those builds, instead of the one we just finished playing.
Is it possible that Uprising was built on top of one of those beta builds and did not incorporate a lot of the subsequent improvements that were made to moment to moment game play? Did the update revert some part of Dust 514 to an earlier iteration of the game?
Nothing to do with removal of sharp shooter skill, weaponry skill, or anything like that.
Movement over terrain feels very much like it did long ago.
And hit detection is not what it was just last week. Especially noticeable when using a sniper rifle. Should be no issue there with the invisible walls that are affecting a lot of other weapons. |

Head glitching was bad enough. Whatever they ****** up with draw distance has made skirmish unplayable for me as I am constantly sniped by people who don't show up. The ones who do are head glitching, so can't be shot.
1 game mode unplayable (that's ignoring how painfully uninteresting the game mode is... "capture points a, b and c" isn't going to bring any emergent gameplay).
As you say Aighun, the movement is borked, getting stuck on invisible walls, clipping on every player or box within 2 feet of my character.
Dust is plain, boring and uninteresting. Just like it was in E3, but without the fun of squashing people in derpships. Instead we get Dirtracer514. |
