Im glad people like a SMALLER FIELD OF VIEW, awful sludge like underwater based aiming that feels like a chore , smaller draw distance, every weapon but the AR being nerfed into oblivion, dropship controls that are a joke, tanks unable to move their turrets on a Y axis, and other crap. But im glad theres only 3k - 5k people playing at peak hours and 1k-2k playing at non peak hours. THE GAME IS DOING SO GOOD GUYS. Iv already had most of my corp take a hiatus to wait to see if CCP is going to fix this abismal game. If they dont I could see almost all 150ish of them just quitting outright. |

Go look at that research thread, should help you understand the numbers a little better. Dropship controls are actually fine, though the gallente's handling needs some serious work to let it compete with the caldari, AR's got hit by SS removal and other range nerfs too, as for the other stuff, yeah that needs to be fixed, but I noticed your post missed over the range of good things that happened in uprising too.
I dont need to do research as you put it, im commenting on the bad aspects of uprising, the core gameplay. Iv read through the drivel that is this forum where most people have the inteligence of a worm (Its bound to happen more oftan then not on a dev visited forum). Im fine with some things in this game, the SS remove is perfectly fine, the aiming being so awful im not. Im sorry if I among MANY MANY others have standards. |

One more thing the fov you ever tried using a forward facing camera to see with? How bout wearing a HAZMAT suit. I always assumed this was why fov was not crazy wide.
If you want to get into reality then how come you dont hear yourself huffing and puffing while running along, you know wearing a helmet will make you much more aware of your own breathing, if im wearing a futuristic helmet why not sunglasses from the glare constantly on the screen because the gama levels are too high. If im wearing a helmet with a HEADS UP DISPLAY why dont I have perifieral vision. Iv worn a hazmat suit, iv worn gasmasks and helmets of all kinds (inb4 joke about wearing helmets) You dont loose THAT MUCH perifieral vision. The only reason CCP did this was because the game is on Unreal Engine 3 and they want grafix that it cant support if its running a larger FOV and rendering distances. |
